I'd love to be a writer. Or own a baby shop that just sells geeky themed stuff. More likely I'll eventually go into private practice doing psychological/educational testing for kids. Something I still enjoy but not quite as exciting!!

I'm studying towards having my own interior styling business. That is and has always been my dream job.

Sorry you didn't get to follow your dream. I wanted to study medicine too but it wasn't to be :-(

Probably something to do with food, like a food stylist/writer or a restaurant reviewer but so successful that I have enough money for a personal trainer to keep me trim from all the yummy food I would eat!!

I always wanted to be a doctor growing up too. A surgeon, dealing with trauma ect. But I have attention issues so school was never going to work out for me.

But I am now on the path to becoming a paramedic after putting the whole medical field behind me for most of my 20s. My husband basically told me to go chase it. And while it's not the doctor career I envisioned, this seems to be working out a whole lot better. I think this job suits me much more than the doctor would have anyway. Still get to deal with trauma cases. Still get to save lives and do all that stuff. But not stuck in a hospital. I get to be outside, on the road which I like. I'm doing volunteer ambulance officer training at the moment. Finishing it off this week, so I've been playing with some pretty neato stuff.

Point is, maybe there is something else in the medical field you can look into?

Thanks hun. I must admit it is still an active dream...i have young babies right now so can't see any study happening just yet but my DP is super supportive and I hope to get there eventually.

Good on you though! That's awesome. I have always kinda envied Paramedics too. Haha...for want of a better word!

I always wanted to do something with horses. Never mattered what, just so long as I got to be around them all day. My parents steered me away from that dream because there was no money in it but next year I am starting my Masters in Social Work and plan on offering Equine Assisted Therapy for teens and adults in addition to counselling (specialising in abuse and grief).
I'm stoked I'm finally going to be able to do my dream but as a professional.
