    Default First goal reached!!

So today LB is 10 weeks old. That's 10 weeks of exclusively breastfeeding (no dummy this time either!) I'm so damn proud of myself and LB for reaching our first goal.

This was our first goal because Possum refused to breastfeed and I stopped expressing due to a lack of supply at 10 weeks. I never got engorged and had no problems going cold turkey.

Next goal is to build up a massive stash in prep for returning to work. She will be 5 months and in childcare 5 days a week from 7-5. Hoping we can avoid giving formula altogether.

I'm so damn happy I just want to shout it out to everyone lol.

That's awesome Hun. BF is a feet in itself but to overcome previous issues that you had with possum is even better. If you can get enough frozen now for later it's even better. I did that with DS1 when I went back to work when he was 5 months old. I expressed during my lunch and tea breaks to keep it going then stopped at 8months and I had enough frozen for 4 months so pretty much avoided formula altogether. This time round it's a diff story. The supply I was stock piling st to go because of the dairy intolerance. 3 litres down the drain but I've restocked it now and if he needs a feed and I'm out and my folks have him he gets a frozen bottle

Go as long as you can with out breaking your sanity

Not sure if it's sleep deprivation (thanks to possum) or if it's a thing, but I get really sleepy when feeding. I fell asleep feeding while sitting on the couch and dribbled on myself lol

@Mamasupial it's absolutely a thing! It helps LB feel sleepy too. More so in the early weeks and eases off as they get older.
