Default First time to use clomid..

Hello everyone. Went to my OBGYN earlier and gave me clomid 50mg for 5days due to very orregular period. I'm on my CD5 today.

Is there anyone who had BFP after using clomid? And what should I expect to feel while on clomid? Hope to hear some stories from you guys. Fingers crossed and praying that this will be our month. Thanks!! xx

Hi, I've done at least 1/2 a dozen clomid cycles so far.

I has two bfp, both ended at 6 weeks unfortunately, but that had nothing to do with the Clomid.

Be gentle with yourself while taking it. I didn't have the horror story side effects but I did feel a bit cr@ppy. I tended to suffer from awful headaches on it. A little tip - the only thing that slightly helped with the headache was Coca Cola. I don't know why, I read it when I was looking up some remedies as I was desperate and it worked a treat.

50mg did nothing for me so he dose was gradually upped to 125mg which did the trick! I had no side effects other than a slightly dry mouth. Good luck!

I did 4 clomid cycles (including one where i took 50 then 100 in the same cycle- it's called the 'step up protocol' - and had a beautiful girl in September after a textbook perfect pregnancy. Good luck!

Oh my! Mood swings. Lol. Better tell my DH to be good on me so he'll understand why I'm having mood swings.

Wow 36wks already!! If I may ask, why did you use clomid? Do you also have an irregular period? How I wish I'll get this on just one cycle. Thank you!
