Well you would be hard pressed to find aclinic to put back 3 in Australia the law here is two max.

I'm over 40 and would put back two every time.

But if I do go the donor egg route then the clinic I'm going to will only put back one

Luv...my Clinic here in Australia put back 3 of my OE embyro's in twice so Clinics do transfer 3 embryo's and it's not against the law as there is no law regarding embryo's to transfer as such. There are guidelines to follow.

That is at the discretion of the Clinic and is as per The Code Of Practice For Reproductive Technology (Fertility Society Australia) (of which transferring 3 embryo's to a woman 40+ using her OE's is not contravening I might add):

Clinics have to abide by this Code of Practice to receive accreditation but can also implement their own policies within the Code's framework which almost all Clinics do.

Well it's not clearly stating you can do more.

And my clinic applied to the ethics board for more but they declined more than 2

Correct..and it's clearly not stating that you can't either. Ethics board for your Clinic???

My Clinic can and does triple transfers...they work within the framework's guidelines and within their own policies/guidelines.
