    Default Fevers and teething?

    True or myth?

Are they related? What are your experiences?

I've had mild fevers with teething.

I think high temps were more contributed to viruses and teething just happened at the time.

Is your kiddo feeling a little off?

Yup, he's not yet over his previous bug and now has come down with quite a temp (39.1).

The back molars are coming in and he's been a mess... Thinking GP tomorrow.

I'd say he's probably come down with something too. immune system may have had a bit of a hit.

    Hope he feels better soon.

Thanks. Me too. Pretty much over it. I keep getting told it must be teeth, I'm not convinced in this case.

I know kids share germs and have to get sick to build their immune system blah blah blah... But for crying out loud, keep your green snotty child at home and stop sharing bugs for a second so we can have 1 day where I'm not dealing with the worlds most dramatically sick boy...

Ok, I'm exaggerating but needed a little vent.

At the GP, DS has really high temp, shivering and lethargic. Starting to get quite worried.

Thank you ladies, you are so kind X
GP found nothing opening wrong... I asked about teeth and acting made this sound "pfft".

Anyway, most likely viral. Dosed him up on Panadol/nurofen and fluids. He has perked up a little but def fighting something off.

    Thanks again

I haven't had to experience this yet but I know it's unavoidable and I'm dreading it. Hoping for a speedy recovery for your fella x
