I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who hasn't had their dress professionally cleaned and boxed after 10 years, eeep!

Mine was professionally cleaned and boxed. It's at my Mum's place. I think I'll keep it. I always wished Mum had kept her wedding dress. She was similarly shaped to me when she got married - I would have loved to use it as a base and redesign it. She got married in the 60s when you cut your wedding dress off to make a new dress to wear to dances
. Anyway, I'll hang onto mine in case DD or my God daughter want to use it/cut it up. It's a skirt and top so actually quite versatile (plus a lovely veil).

I had mine cleaned and it's in a box in the wardrobe. I haven't gotten it out, but i was supposed to every 12 months lol. It will be 7 years next April!! I'm keeping it in case my daughter wants to do something with it - I don't mind if she wants to redesign or cut it up and use parts of it for her own dress. Or not at all. Maybe I will have granddaughters who may want it one day?

@Mod-Uniquey check on base, I had mine cleaned and boxed years ago for so cheap.
I would love to have mine made into a christening gown/outfit for our first born grandchild with the bottom half. The top of it is a beautiful black and white lace corset that I would love to have detached from the rest of the dress and use for race days, formal dining in nights etc.
