Mine was cleaned and put into a preservation box. I did plan on keeping it but no point now I'm getting divorced! I'm currently trying to sell it myself. The only bridal consignment business on the Gold Coast is full at the moment.

Mine was cleaned and packed away professionally. I'll keep it until my girl is old enough in case she wants it (doubtful) and I may wear it to renew vows on our 30th anniversary but haven't decided yet :-)

I got mine professionally cleaned and boxed. It's sitting in the top of my closet. I'll probably keep it for sentimental reasons though I doubt I'll ever use it or wear it again. It was custom made of really beautiful fabric so if my daughters wanted it, or wanted to cut it up and use some of the fabric in the future I'd be cool with that.

Mine was professionally cleaned and boxed up. It's still in the box and I haven't opened it to even look at it!

I have occasionally thought about what to do with it. There were a couple of small marks on the bottom of it which weren't able to be removed, so I'm not sure about trying to resell it for that reason.

Well I still have to wear mine for the wedding in 5mnths time.
I haven't thought much about what will happen with it afterwards. It could be dyed and used as a formal dress for one of my step daughters in the future I guess. Will have to see how I feel after the wedding lol

I always felt guilty that in 7 years I haven't gotten it cleaned but I'm relieve I am not alone in that. We left on the Monday for two weeks honeymoon and then just back to the madness, then it was so long after I felt bad taking it in. It is in the dress bag in the back of my wardrobe, I don't know if I've shown the kids even. In the back of my mind I'm thinking I will surprise my hubby for our tenth anniversary but with a lace up back I'm not sure how I will get into it alone.

I also have my debutante dress than my grandmother handmade for me, she was a dressmaker so it is wedding dress quality. I looked into getting it altered for my wedding but too much had changed from 16 to 25 years old(my shape and the style of dress) and it fell into too hard basket.

Mine is sitting in the wardrobe rolled up like a big puffy cloud. It was 2 piece with the top being a bodice with crystals sewn into it and the skirt is like the lower half of Cinderella ballgown. Friends have used the top for parties etc. My sister also has hers at my place to for the past 16 yrs and $8k later she won't get rid of it even though the marriage has been over for 10 yrs

I made mine so I still have extra fabrics, and couldn't imagine parting with it. I work with a girl that got hers made into a dress for her daughter to play in.

One of a kind, also the skirt was detachable to have a shorter party dress 🏻🏻
