Nope, it's going to be a long labour it seems... Midwife at hospital said I'm in labour but not active labour and baby may be here today or tomorrow so I'm back at home. Contractions are strong and frequent but unless my waters break or I'm in agony, I'm staying put.

I'm glad I went home because I had awesome cuddles with my 3yr old

    Quick update: still pregnant!

Apparently pre-labour can last for weeks!!!!! Thankfully the contractions eased off last night and I got a massive sleep.

I expect something has happened with my cervix but I'll go about my day as normal today. Taking the day off from work (obviously), staying close to home and the hospital.

I'm getting mild cramps but that's it. And I'm feeling baby very low in my crotch area so I suspect he is close to engaging.

Hopefully all of this means a very short active labour

Just ate some cereal. First thing I've eaten since Saturday afternoon !

With DD I was in pre-labour for two weeks. Once it got going though, it was only 3 hours from contractions starting to baby in arms. Nearly didn't make it to hospital on time!

    Good luck!
