I'm a big fan of adairs, they are quality.
I spend now where near 1/3 of my life in there haha. I only go to bed for about 5 hours a night.
Hubby on the other hand is always in bed. He lives his whole life in there nearly. He is a shift worker so I very rarely get to "make" my bed as he is in it. Any linen we own ends up all gross on his side after a while, regardless of how much I wash it. So I would rather buy cheaper and replace more often.

I think my last quilt cover cost me $25. We'll keep it for a couple of years and then change it. My DH is really fussy about our bed linen and doesn't want anything really girly on it...so anything that I would spend good money on he rejects. So K-Mart it is.

A quilt cover changes the appearance of a room dramatically. If you love the quilt it will make you happy when you enter the room. Do it!

My last quilt cover was $150 & I loved it... but it didnt wash great. I recently bought a $40 kmart cover & was expecting cheap & nasty, but was suprised that I love it! Just as much as the $150 one. I even went out & bought a second cover exactly the same so I can just swap them over to wash, instead of waiting for the one to dry. Has revolutionised my linen-changing routine!

I've bought our last few from adairs. Usually spend $120 - $150. They're great quality

thanks! I saw it and fell in love too!

I'm slightly obsessed with Caribbean themed decor and nice palm prints stuff seems hard to find in Australia. so when I saw that I jumped on it! dh was like wtf, you spent $180 on a doona cover but I told him to bog off

I find adairs good quality and worth the money. I've spent a few hundred on a set from there, with extra pillows (king size bed so a bit more) and it washes beautifully and still looks perfect.

I don't really have a set amount I spend, but my most recent purchase was $200 on special at Adairs. It's such lovely quality, washes like a dream and always sits beautifully on the bed.
