I disagree. I follow him on Facebook. He's actually claiming that Trump is throwing the election and trying to lose on purpose.

What exactly are you disagreeing with?

I'm not saying trump is going to win, I only posted that article because there was an excerpt in it that very eloquently explains why the people who *would* vote for the democrats are not necessarily *going* to vote for the democrats. This was in response to someone else asking whether Americans are just lazy.

I'm not even sure why you're arguing with me.

I like Michael Moore a lot, I enjoy his films, I like his rhetoric. And he's now supporting Hillary Clinton which fx will make a difference.

I really really like Hillary Clinton, I like watching her speak, I also really love her commitment to woman's rights.
She is so qualified and so ready for this.
    I wish I could vote!

I have felt just mortified for Americans watching Trump make an absolute IDIOT of himself on a world stage ..... fair shake of the sav

I liked her responses to the questions in the 3rd debate (especially Abortion and immigration). I just can't stand her smirking! Gah!!

Yikes Holly that would be a delete for me!

Can I ask you, from someone that is a US citizen. Do people in the US actually take him seriously? Is it just a small extremist type following or does he have decent support? I guess I'm still completely confused how this goose has even got to this stage?

Also, people in this thread have commented some in the US have had enough of Obama. Why? Is it Obama Care? I thought he had done an amazing job. He inherited a ludicrous debt, he has mixed his left wing leanings with careful balance i.e. gun control (personally I don't think he's done enough but given the culture of guns, he has no hope).

And I highly doubt women will vote for Clinton just bc she's a woman. It kind of minimises every reason that she deserves to be there. I was so excited to have Gillard as our first female PM. But truthfully, while I didn't hate her, I really wasn't a huge fan, I was, and still am, a Rudd supporter. Women can actually have the brains and objectivity to vote for the best person

To imply that women will vote for Clinton because she's a woman is rather insulting to women. It suggests that:
    a. we're a homogeneous bunch (which we're clearly not)
    b. our analysis and opinion is shallow as it's based purely on gender.

On the other hand, for the 230(ish) years a man has held the position of US president, arguably the most powerful and influential country in the world. Perhaps it's about time there was some perspective from the other 50% of the population, especially when that person is the most qualified presidential candidate ever to run for office.

The Christian, conservative, right-wing population have gained a lot of media attention and power during recent years and with that comes the normalisation of their beliefs ( ). I think it would be of huge benefit to the world to throw a spanner in that movement!
