Do you think, just from those 11 minutes of footage there, that that's acceptable from a president?
Not having a go, but that scares the sh!t out of me.
What I see there is someone who's out to serve and preserve herself at all costs.

    I dunno.
    I'm worried.
Things have never looked so dire.
I think you're taking her demeanor in that video out of context in regards to the whole investigation. And again, she's been thoroughly investigated and no charges brought.

It was a witch hunt because it's a republican congress that continually tried to beat a dead horse so that she wouldn't be a viable presidential candidate. Just like they vocally tried to make Obama's presidency useless by blocking him on everything and refusing to work with him. The ambassador's family has spoken out that they don't blame Clinton for Benghazi.

I'm not saying she isn't qualified for the job, and I'm sure she will make a GREAT President, probably better than Obama. But surely I'm not the first person who has accused her of being bought out?

Here's a random article I found that sums it up.. Look it could all just be a smear campaign, but it would be one very elaborate conspiracy it none of these accusations were true:

    https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp....ntial-campaign

The Clinton campaign has spent the last few weeks furiously pushing back at the criticism that she is influenced by the vast donations her campaign receives from backers in the oil and financial industries. Her supporters have been vigorously arguing there’s no evidence of a quid pro quo.
Then there are the closed-door speeches that Clinton gave for Goldman Sachs and other big banks after she left her role as secretary of state.

The president of Citizens United even told the Center for Public Integrity last week: “Wouldn’t you know that Hillary Clinton has become one of the greatest beneficiaries of the Citizens United supreme court decision. It is an irony that is not lost on me.”
But it would be difficult not to worry about at least the potential for a conflict of interest, when weapons manufacturers and Saudi Arabia were making donations to the Clinton Foundation while their weapons deals were approved by the State Department, oil companies were doing the same before the State Department approved the oil sands pipeline project, and other fossil fuels donated at around the same time the secretary was advocating increased fracking abroad.
I just want to clarify, the fact that she has financial backing by banks, oil companies etc, is not a question. That's just fact. What is in question is whether that backing will influence her decision making when she is in power (or has been in power in the past).

I also really dislike her mannerisms and general aura. Sorry! Each to their own I would still vote for her if i was a U.S. citizen. And I wouldn't say it's the lesser of 2 evils.. I don't think she is evil. I just think someone else could have been a better president, but that person is no longer in the running.

Regarding why Americans don't vote.. Here is a very alarming prediction from Michael Moore:

    http://michaelmoore.com/trumpwillwin/

Don’t get me wrong. I have great hope for the country I live in. Things are better. The left has won the cultural wars. Gays and lesbians can get married. A majority of Americans now take the liberal position on just about every polling question posed to them: Equal pay for women – check. Abortion should be legal – check. Stronger environmental laws – check. More gun control – check. Legalize marijuana – check. A huge shift has taken place – just ask the socialist who won 22 states this year. And there is no doubt in my mind that if people could vote from their couch at home on their X-box or PlayStation, Hillary would win in a landslide.
But that is not how it works in America. People have to leave the house and get in line to vote. And if they live in poor, Black or Hispanic neighborhoods, they not only have a longer line to wait in, everything is being done to literally stop them from casting a ballot. So in most elections it’s hard to get even 50% to turn out to vote. And therein lies the problem for November – who is going to have the most motivated, most inspired voters show up to vote? You know the answer to this question. Who’s the candidate with the most rabid supporters? Whose crazed fans are going to be up at 5 AM on Election Day, kicking *** all day long, all the way until the last polling place has closed, making sure every Tom, **** and Harry (and Bob and Joe and Billy Bob and Billy Joe and Billy Bob Joe) has cast his ballot? That’s right. That’s the high level of danger we’re in. And don’t fool yourself — no amount of compelling Hillary TV ads, or outfacting him in the debates or Libertarians siphoning votes away from Trump is going to stop his mojo.

That prediction was made in July and Moore has since rescinded

Nothing he said in his prediction has changed though. And July wasn't that long ago.. He may have "rescinded" it, but that doesn't actually change anything. And since he's just released trumpland in support of Hillary, of course he will want to show a united front.

I have no beef with Bernie, I would love to see a lot of what he represented happen in American but I genuinely believe he wouldn't have won or would have been a lame duck president if he had as there's no way a republican congress would have let a lot of what he wanted happen. He's currently too far left for a lot of Americans. There's also just too much at stake this election with Supreme Court appointments to risk loosing. Clinton made a much bigger issue in her campaign about women's rights, minority issues and gun control, Bernie just basically campaigned at college campuses and didn't do a good job at reaching out to other demographics.

    Fair enough

As an outsider, obviously there is a lot I'm missing in this.

I would really love to watch trumpland if it's available online. I just read a great review of it on the New Yorker.

Every politician with any high ranking office has dined with, held meetings with and done 'business' with businesses/lobby organisations or what ever it takes to get support for their position. The line between securing support and bribery is grey.

Give me a big donation for my party and we'll change these laws when we get in which will then improve your profit. Murdoch and Rhinehart would have had those conversations many times over with politicians.
