We did ICSI due to male factor infertility. Also found out after we started treatment that I had endo and a blocked tube. First stim produced 2 day 3 embryos, neither stuck. Changed clinics and new FS addressed some previously undiagnosed thyroid issues, did another stim, got 5 blasts and the first embryo (fresh transfer) resulted in my gorgeous DD. Now we have four frozen embies and hoping to turn one into a sibling early next year

As PP said choose your clinic carefully. They are not all made equal.

Also agree about choosing the right clinic. It took us 12 attempts and 4 clinics to get our first BFP. I remember seeing a lady on here who took 20 attempts to have her first bub, so never give up hope.

Our reason for IVF was poor sperm & egg quality and low egg count. I have endometriosis, as well as thyroid & pre-diabetes issues. I only had 1 egg collected on attempt 12 and with thanks to my FS & ICSI I was finally blessed.

    Best wishes

We did Icsi due to low sperm count.
Baby #1 took 4 cycles (1 fresh + 3 FET) DS was born.

    Baby#2 - 5 cycles (2 fresh + 3 FET) now 25 weeks pregnant.
I had some immune meds in the last two cycles as I knew it was going to be my last ever attempts

IVF for a combination of low egg reserve, immune factors & unexplained.
1 fresh, 1 FET, 1 fresh - DD born from second fresh cycle.
Went back for a FET this year & got pregnant with DS who is 5 days old.
Still have 2 embryos on ice which we are not sure what to do with.
As pp's have mentioned, choose your clinic wisely. Our failed cycles were with our first clinic, when we switched clinics & changed the protocol, we had success.
Best of luck on your journey.

MFI for us, we were one of the extremely lucky ones and count our blessings everyday. Preg on first cycle currently 28 weeks. IVF/ICSI 9 eggs collected, 6 mature, 4 fertilised and 2 made it to blastocyst, 1 implanted and 1 on ice.

    Thank you Primary IVF
