Me again...I meant to ask also if anyone had pgd tested their embryos and had a BFN?...I feel very relieved to have found this thread...I'm feeling very alone as I have only told close family what we were doing and I have to face work tomorrow...I feel sick thinking about it...

@Ruby2015 hello and welcome to the thread :-) im so sorry that your donor cycle didnt work. I too know how that feels xox

Im not sure about why it didnt work though. :-( I know sometimes even pgd tested embies dont take. Also wondering if your lining was measured and if it was above 6mm at transfer or maybe if you have immune issues and were you taking prednisolone and clexane? These are the only things i can think of but im sure other ladies will pop in and offer better advice.

Not much consolation but there's several of us that have had failed (sometime repeated failed) donor cycles. Big hugs to us all xox

Hi Thankyou for responding....I have been told I have mild endometriosis but it was not near where the embryos implant so doctor said it was fine????...I don't even know if that makes sense??...I have had fibroids in the past but I have two FS Drs say everything seems to be fine....they aren't an issue?...I had an ultrasound the day before transfer....I've also had a laparoscopy...when they found the fibroids but again it didn't seem to be an issue...I haven't been tested for immune issues....

@Ruby2015 we are all crazy on this thread so you are in the right place ;-) I think we all felt like this thread was a lifesaver for us when we found it. Its also totally ok to talk about feelings of despair and depression etc... in addition to the technical/scientific ivf stuff. We have all been there and in real life, i know it feels like you are alone but in here there are so many ladies who have been through similar stuff. Its so so hard xox

Yep and that all may be true Luv as sometimes none of those things do cause issues depending on the severity of the Endo and depending on where the fibroids are located. That's my understanding anyway.

The Immune Issues I would encourage you to get tested for. I don't know where you are located as in what state or who your FS here is that helps you prepare for your DE Cycles over in SA??

To make it really easy, I would recommend you go and see Dr M who is a Reproductive Immunologist (as well as being an OBGYN) who is based in Sydney but does ph consults. If you can't get to see him in person, he will send all blood test forms etc through the mail.

Here's a link to him so you can read up a bit more about him. I'm not saying you do have Immune Issues, it's just one more thing to strike off the list Luv if that makes sense???

I'm in Perth but I will look into it...to be honest I didn't have any real assistance in regards to preparing for DE...the clinic I had been going to just allowed me to get my lining checked before I went and to buy the drugs I needed....my husband asked me last night if we could get the remaining embryo transported to us in Perth to do the transfer here...have you heard of anyone doing that....I had to travel to joburg on my own this time and it was pretty miserable
