The 4 from my first cycle were untested, DS was normal and not sure of the others.

I had my appointment with Dr Saba today. He suggested a lap and hysteroscopy to do the NK biopsy and exclude endo. I have a lot of bloods to do. As I still make a tiny bit of milk he wants me on a medication to suppress that. Then I will take Pred, aspirin and two lots of intralipids before ET and then three after, adding in Clexane post transfer. Whew!

    It's a plan Luv!!!

And he's doing the biopsy too which is good plus all the immune meds before and after transfer!!!

I made sure to take mine first thing in the morning as they used to give me insomnia as a side effect Luv. They also used to make me feel a bit "wired" as well

Oh your poor back!!! Maybe the steriods will help with that too Luv

@pingc383 - yes I had around 70 eggs collected. Good maturity rate but average to poor fert rate despite no male factor issues. Think I averaged about 30 fertilised across 4 stim cycles and got 7 to test with PGS with two frozen blasts untested. Out of 7 tested one was normal and the rest were all abnormal. Miraculously on my one and only FET of my one normal embryo, it took. The unexpected highly unlikely to happen, can sometimes happen.

To mention - you should be ok on prednisolone- I thought I'd go crazy, I just had great stamina instead!

yep. The failures a lot of women go thru are not spoken about/shared much, either.

Stamina is one side effect I can deal with! Here's hoping that's the one I get!

Some do it just in case, but it does add cost and risk so prob wise to have the biopsy I guess? Sounds like Dr Saba has it under wrap. And also sounds like you have much better egg quality than the rest of us!! 8 blastocysts in three cycles yikes - I've never had one only an early blast! Never let them grow to day 6 though so who knows.
I did discuss if the lap was necessary as I've never had any endo symptoms. I have heard some ladies here say theirs was silent and I do have DOR for my age (which has been attributed to genetics so far). He said he will decide on that based on one of my blood tests the CA125- if it's up then he will do the lap.

I'm the kind of person that likes to know. So I'd like the biopsy to prove the NK cells and also make sure my thin lining on some cycles isn't from anything else.

Thanks re: my egg quality. Four of those blasts were from a cycle when I was 35 so I guess that's why! These last two stims I got one hatching blast and one early blast by Day 5, the hatching one was PGS normal in each cycle. So I am lucky in that regard. Now to get them to stick...

@Flower78 - Sounds like a successful appointment with DR Saba today hun although a lot to take in. Are you considering the lap and hystroscopy hun wondering if a lap might be a good consideration for myself to see if anything else is going on but wondering if its an extra op for no reason, willing to try anything.
@Spazzyp - Great news that FET can happen before Christmas hun. Definately listen to your body though now and take time for you.

Interesting conversations on here today about egg quality issues awful to hear so many of us have this huge battle to deal with. Still not sure if my issue is chromosomes of the egg or my eggs being effected by my pcos and extra hormones 🙁

Yes I was happy with the plan! Feels a lot better than changing nothing! A colleague at work who loves philosophy said "only a madman keeps trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result" when we were talking about this and I do agree! It seems some FS just want to keep doing the same thing that isn't working. This way I'm changing it up!
