    Well said @Blossom74 and @Minniemin
I'm in the 20 something percent. I think at this point I'm more like 5% after no success. So anyway, just depressing. Like I'd ever bet on something with the 1000s of dollars with those odds. But it seems I am. ☹️

Well said @Minniemin. I like the example of the horse race! It's so true!
Good luck with your ED -I've seen you on the SA thread.
I went to Cape Town this time last year and now have boy/girl twins.
Best thing I ever did! 💕💕

Also when I brought up donor egg my clinic made it sound like some dodgy black market type of thing that was a not realistic option. Just my opinion/experience.

Lucky for us I found you all and the South African thread!

Same. I once got a call from my old clinic a few days after my D&C to ask when we'd be cycling again.

And like you, we were told that it would be "very unlikely" that we would find an egg donor. That donor embryos come up *occasionally* but rarely are there eggs donated. Then I got myself educated and whaddya know - I had a donor on board locally within a very short period of time.

At the end of the day I guess that clinics know how desperate we are, know that we'll do anything, take anything, pay anything to achieve our goals.

@Lolly99 when I first started investigating the DA option, I trawled back through all of the SA threads to educate myself. I followed your story. So wonderful that you now have both a boy and a girl. Christmas is going to be a busy time in your house!

That'll be just fine hon. It'll bake in any pan, zucchini slice is a very forgiving recipe. Will be so yummy with a little salad on the side
