    Default Zoely experiences.

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced breakthrough bleeding and ongoing spotting while on the Zoely pill? I only started it in September part way through my cycle and then my period lasted ten days and now less than seven days since my period finished I've had more spotting and period like cramps, mood dips and nausea. I'm not using it for contraceptive as my husband has had a vasectomy but rather to skip the sugar pills and continue the active pills for a few months as my periods were so uncomfortable. Would really appreciate hearing others' experiences with Zoely and if the bleeding and spotting has occurred for others in the random way mine has? Thanks. BB.

No Zoeley experience but I had something like this happen on Yasmin (another "new generation" low dose pill) when I missed pills mid cycle. I started spotting etc and the Dr. said I would need to come off it, have a full withdrawal bleed, then wait for my actual period to start taking it again. When I started taking it I was also told it's best to start with your period rather than mid-cycle.

I know some women also find these pills too low dose so just spot their whole cycle. I only had that issue with the mini-pill.

I used Zoely and felt nauseous, headaches and breakthrough bleeding so gave it up. I react to the synthetic hormones so tried zoely but wasn't any better
