Lots of hugs LMS. DS will have his in a few months but knows all about it (he has seen DD have hers - he insisted). He is ok about it though. I do think even if ahe does remember whe will also remember her mum being there with her the whole time supporting her too.

As for Frozen - why does everyone like Elsa so much?

Thanks ladies, I appreciate the kind words.
@gingermillie if you want someone to go to the movies with you or have lunch, I'm only a PM away.

I'm feeling so disconnected from DH so that's the hardest part ATM. I feel like we are both just surviving the various things going on in our lives. We aren't living, just making life work which is really quite depressing.

Sending love to you all xxxx

LMS, when DD had her 4yr needles, she glared at the nurse and in between sobs said "I'm NEVER coming back here again"

She was fine by the time we left.

    Default I am.....#19

It went pretty good. She didn't cry at the time but was fairly sooky on the drive home.

The worst part was the grilling about how well she eats (lies) and teethbrushing (more lies) and the guilt trip about never taking her to a dentist sigh (I'm terrified of them).

But now I don't need to go back ever again!!! (Fur dd1 anyway).

Make time together as a couple. One night a week, just a couple of hours...prioritise each other. It makes such a big difference. DH and I have done this for the last 5 years. We pick a night that works for both of us and nothing stops us. We eat dinner together without the kids (now they're older they just get sent to their rooms...or we hide in ours. When they were little they were in bed at 7pm and then it was ou time...our kids are so accustomed to it they don't even argue when we send them to their room because it's our time), and we chat, we might play a board game together, or if there's a show we both like on netflix we'll watch an episode together every week. It makes a difference. We rarely go out out, we just enjoy time together at home.

Unsure if I should wake dd1- she had her vax today and has been napping now for 3.5 hours?!?

ETA: I woke her and regret it. She's super sooky, not happy at all.

DS and DD are super tired today. And slept for about that long.

I always put on some cartoons/dvds. Maybe some panadol too.
