Hi, I'm a newbie here but have been reading lots of threads and wanted to join in! We are heading to Greece in May to see Dr Nikos for a donor egg cycle.

Welcome Treens73 - if you have any questions, feel free to ask . There's a variety of stories here - some of us are first time successful, while others have had a harder road. No matter what, we try to be supportive, informative and provide a safe place for you to land xoxo

@stacey10, no, still in one piece not 4. Booked for a c-section on 6 March, but really just playing the wait and see game. I'll be 34w5d if I make it to next Monday, which will be a miracle considering how my pelvis, lower back and legs are feeling!!! At the growth scan on Friday (33w2d) they were 2.2, 2.0 & 1.8kg, so doing really well. Hopefully we go straight to SCBU and onto the backload list for transfer home in very short order, but it will depend on space. My partner is now here in the 'Ville with me, so these babies can make their appearance anytime they like

@AngelD I bet it's a relief that you've made it this far now that your partner is down, so you can sort of relax good to have a bit of special time together before the chaos starts hopefully the babies will do really well and you'll be back up here in no time

Thanks for the welcome Hubby and I have an almost 12 month old daughter from donor eggs and we are wanting one more before we get too old - I'm 44 and he is 50. My friend is unable to donate again so that's why we are heading to Greece. We tried Ivf 3 times with my eggs but no luck then we went to donor as I was lucky enough to have a much younger friend who offered to donate. Our Bub is absolutely adorable and the happiest, easiest baby. Hopefully we will be lucky again.
We are taking her to Greece with us which will be interesting but people travel with babies all the time, how hard can it be lol.
Loving reading everybody's stories and it's very encouraging the amount of success Dr Nikos seems to have. Fingers crossed!
