@Mod-RaryGirl yes i agree with @ange1111 so how are we supposed to discuss our journeys without mentioning fs / clinic as they are an intergral part of ivf. And this is now very very confusing as to what we can and cant say on this thread. It would be nice, if bubhub is going to force groups of friends to split up, you gave us some idea of what is or isnt ok. Basically you have shut us down because we dont know what we can say. What would we talk about on this site if we cant mention what we are doing with iur clinics and specialists. You are aware that you cant do ivf without them? The way this has been done, totally sux. Usually group members are the ones who suggest and decide to start a thread. But you have dictated that there must now be 2 threads but havent explained what this thread is for. Have you done the same for the south africa thread or the czech thread? Not from what i can see. So, yeah, how about you explain how to discuss ivf without mentioning ivf? And now youve also made it ths case, that there is no central thread where people can get info about all the clinics . Sometimes people just stumble across threads. What if they only find these separate threads you have forced us to belong to. Then people might not ever know about the other options and clinics. Why on earth would you make people's donor ivf struggles even harder? Have you done ivf? Donor ivf? If not, then youve got no idea how difficult it is. If you have, then i cannot comorehend how you could do this when you actually know what its like. What exactly am I "misunderstanding"? Explain why you have done this in discussion with "some" members (and not others). What was discussed? Why have you done this? If you cant explain, get someone who can to tell us, especially with regards to what your rules are about what we can discuss now because i dont know anymore. Because i go to embryoland, im not allowed to post about what im doing there in this thread with my friends that arent going to that clinic. And what about all the new people that i could help, that im never going to meet now? Its just horrible.

Hopefully this will clear up the questions you have @gorgeousgeorge and @ange1111.

This thread that we are posting in now is to follow your IVF journeys in relation to egg donations in Greece. For those donating in other countries, it is best that those details go in threads started for those countries.

As mentioned previously, this thread is to follow your journeys - that is your IVF journey with egg donors in Greece. There is not a problem mentioning your Dr or clinic in your journey posts, but general discussion regarding a particular clinic, other members asking for a breakdown of costs of your clinic or if they want more information on your clinic or your Dr - not your journey but the clinic itself, please post in the clinic information thread. I am sure many of you have posted this sort of information for new members many times throughout the various threads, now is the opportunity to post all those answers in one thread. All your hints and tips for new IVFers starting their journey in Greece can refer to the one thread for hints, tips, costs, recommendations on particular doctors or clinics.

This enables this thread to be kept more personal, keeping it the personal support place for each other. New people deciding if egg donation in Greece is right for them can post their questions in the clinic thread/s rather than your personal space and move into this area once their journey begins.

Hopefully that has answered your questions and please feel free to PM me if you have any further questions.

@Mod-RaryGirl i think I'll message you on the forum in the interests of transperancy and so that all our members can be aware of your responses.
I'll list my question to make it easier for you to adequately address them.
    1) why havent the other country's thread like south africa and the czech republic been forced to conform to the same restrictions as the members greece thread? Have the other countries threads been instructed to create seperate threads for their individual clinics? Or the clinic that "seems" the most popular to the mods?
2)If not, please explain why not? And why this has only happened to our thread?
    3) Who are the members with whom this was discussed and were involved in this decision making process?
    3) Why were some members involved in the "discussion" and decisions and not other members?
    5) I can see that you are attempting to explain this decision that was made without full or open consultation of all the members, as some kind of advantage to us, as though your decision will make everything so much easier and better. If other members do not feel this is the case, do we have any opportunity to change these orders?
    6) What are you / the mods going to do if we continue to post on this thread as we always have done before your forced intervention? Will we be thrown out of bubhub hub? Are you going to censor, modify and delete our posts?
    6) Are moderators now going to decide for me what is and isnt a 'personal' part of my journey? How are you going to decide on my behalf what is 'personal' to me? What right do you have to decide what is personal to me?
    7) Are you honestly trying to say that nobody is allowed to post on this thread until they have gone to greece? Paid money to a clinic? Contacted and decided on a clinic? What criteria are you going to use to decide when each of us have actually 'begun' our journey?
8 )Why have you decided that the nature of our thread needs to become more personal ?

Please post your answers on the forum as im sure all the other members will find your answers informative and useful and if you clearly address each of the 8 questions, then perhaps it will clear things up, instead of just giving a generalised and repetitive response.
    Thank you.

This is overkill, I know why I'm here. I've posted my life on here, my pictures, my story, my experience, my success all shared with the public. The awesome taxi driver I used while in Athens we've shared amongst us.

When researching options, I read every single page of every egg donation thread in bub hub. I decided on Greece and stuck in this thread. People will come and go when they get busy with their own lives. This thread has been kept alive by the strong women who are or have been to all parts of the globe to try and create a family.

Keep posting girls, and lurkers need to join in and keep it going.

Nice that we all contribute our stories together.

I look forward to seeing more new faces and hearing stories and experiences. I'm not sure how much I'll be posting after my next visit to Athens. It's difficult when your life is busy, have two jobs and a baby.

It's 4am and I've been up since 2am, my son and I are a bit sick, runny nose & cough, basically he came home and infected the whole house with his child care cold. I've had hardly any sleep and feel horrible. I have to work in 4 hours. Baby is finally sleeping but I can't rest. Thinking.. Thinking..

Hi ladies! All I know is that I will be wherever the support is! I hope the new thread doesn't make anyone leave... your support and guidance is extremely important to everyone especially me :-)
I am planning on contacting embryoland this week but have an appointment with my GP today which is pretty rare so wanted to feel out how she would be assisting me on this journey. Just wondering if I could get some advice on what involvement I would need from her? I guess for like scripts for the pill? But what else? Thanks in advance xox

    Hi Ladies,

Just a quick pop in to say thank you to for asking why ??

For me when my long IVF journey was becoming a disaster, I was originally sold the plan of the egg bank... Thankfully my very very kind nurse told me to have a look at OS donors. So threads like this plus the SA were a very very valuable place for knowledge and options. Hope it can stay that way

Sorry to hear you and baby are not well Yasana hopefully you all
will be on the mend very soon.

Ive had some lining dramas.. Just yet another bump in the road... Thankfully things are now on the right track for being back there next week.
I nearly cried with relief when she told me it was over 10 mm

    lots of baby dust

Hi @bindyboop, definitely talk to your gp about it all, scripts for progynova and bcp will be the main ones, but of course it will depend on your own circumstances. I'd also talk to your Aussie FS - he or she may be able to assist with scans/referrals, your historical blood test results etc - may also be able to do all the scripts - mine charged a management fee and all I had to do was call up for anything I needed, so only saw my gp on our return for the bt (my FS is in Brissy, and I'm in FNQ) etc.
Your dp will need to have a cystic fibrosis bt - not covered by Medicare unfortunately - which your dr in Greece will cover on your first skype call along with anything else you need to do.
You've got heaps of time to get this sorted, but the last month before you go will feel quite frantic, don't panic ... we'll get you there

    @gorgeousgeorge

There were some requests made to us in private about how the ED in Greece threads were running. I am not going to humiliate those people by revealing their names or their actions. They wrote to us in private for a reason, after all.

The moderators had discussions between themselves about a possible solution that might suit all parties. We don't always get it right and clearly we didn't in this case.

I've deleted the separate Embryoland thread, however, if anyone does wish to discuss one aspect of their journey - to Greece or anywhere else - in more detail in a separate thread, they are welcome to start other threads at anytime.

The moderating team deal with emails, PMs, threats to take us to ACA, legal letters etc and we do our very utmost to strike a very careful balance between what everyone wants and needs, whilst ensuring that the actions of others don't ultimately result in us being closed down. We are accused of not moderating enough by some and over-moderating by others. Anytime that we edit or delete posts or threats, it is to ensure that we have a forum for you to continue to gain support in.

Our moderators are not power-crazy individuals, sitting on high trying to get all members to conform to some idealistic style of posting. We have no desire to censor, edit, delete or remove anyone from the forum at anytime. However, we deal with many messages, reports, emails behind the scenes and we try extremely hard to ensure that those who are not confident enough to voice their concerns i open forum are ultimately heard. Everyones journey is different and people deal with their emotions in different ways.

We are here to ensure that there is a support platform for all - for the confident ones, for the shy ones, for the happy ones, for the sad ones.

We all wish nothing more than for you to have a safe, anonymous environment for you all to get the support and help you need.

Good. Im just going to keep posting on this forum just like i always have. Ive never gotten a caution or warning for the things i have said so im assuming i can simply continue as i have always done.

    So, hello again everyone :-)
To all the new ladies, sorry that you stepped into the thread when the last week has been pretty crazy.
Its usuallu a really nice place to be and hopefully if you've read earlier posts n threads you can see im not normally a horrible dragon lady. :-)
@bindyboop hi and welcome :-) in terms of help from australian doctors, yes you will need someone to give you prescriptions for meds. I think gps can prescribe most of them. Some medications can only be prescribed by fertility specialist though, so it would be worth checking what meds you need and seeing if a gp can do them for you, if not you will need an Australian fertility specialist :-)

@francesthecat yep, my fs tried to give me the eggbank option too but im so glad i found the oseas option on bubhub. Frozen eggs dont thaw well. My hope is that like you, oseas donor ivf will get me a baby and then some siblings. How many frosties do you have if its ok to ask?

Afm, im working on my early release of super app atm. Im hoping to go back to athens asap. 7 years ttc and im sooooo sick of waiting and having so many set backs along the way at each stage of this crazy journey. Im starting to snap out of my funk n move away from sad, coz then i get angry and turn the anger into determination grrrrr.... :-)
