I'm sure she is ok. When she had her orientation she was in a different classroom and had a different teacher and my guess is she mentally prepared herself for that and when she found her actual class room that's when the water works started. A lady from the local newspaper was there and actually took DD and DH outside for a few photos, she said she chose DH because he is in defence and it's a defence school and he was in his uniform. So that lightened things up.
My DS is at home sick today poor little possum can't speak, so that may have upset her as well the fact that her brother got to come home with me.

I am curious as to how my 5yo will go when he starts in 2 weeks. He is counting the sleeps til he "starts big school" but I don't know how nervous he will end up being on the day. And I'll probably be a wreck ha

DD is very excited and is also counting down the days! I'm sure she will be fine emotionally as it's just like kindy but 5 days a week. (I know it different though in the sense of what they do and what they learn and it's more structured than kindy.

So I think I'll know for sure by the end of the week if she's enjoyed it or would prefer being at home / Childcare

Hope everyone's preppies who started today had a wonderful day! DD still has a couple more weeks to go too. This week we shop for shoes and a lunch box, then pick up our uniform order next week. Then we're good to go!
