My DD has started regressing with her poos this week.

It took her a long time for toilet training to click with her so I'm hoping this isnt permanent. If its a common pre-starting school thing thats fine.

Has your DD's toileting improved @A-Squared?

I hope you all don't mind me joining - my twin boys are starting Prep next year (QLD) after delayed exit from Kindy. They're turning 6 in June and are very much ready.
I've got 4 pre-loved prep shirts (prep shirts are different to the rest of the school so I'm not really keen to fork out $$ on something they won't even wear next year).
Still need a fair bit though and I need to get their birth certificates (slack mum).

So excited for them to begin their schooling journey though

It has, she was just too busy playing etc to go to the toilet.

And yes according to her kindy teachers it's quite common.

So my school gave me a book list - which I have bought. But during the info session I was too busy chasing after DS to hear what else I might need to buy. This is my list, would love to here if I'm missing anything?

Uniform - dress, shirts, skorts, hat, shoes, socks and jumper
    school bag
    paint smock
    lunch box
    drink bottle.

    What am I missing?

Out of curiosity, can I ask what the book list was?

Just thought I would share - Mathers and Williams have started their back to school sale with 20% off Clarks and buy one get one half price on other brands.

We haven't been told we need any of this (other than the uniforms). We are also public.

We did receive a newsletter from the teacher telling us what to expect from each day and what she expects from the kids, but there was no mention of stationery or book lists.

Do receptions bring their own writing equipment and exercise books?

We don't have a book list or paint smocks either. They're provided for kindergarten.

We have no list or anything! I was wondering whether I missed out on some necessary information?!

My DS is going public also, but in a support class for kids with additional needs. As far as I know, it's just the uniforms/lunchbox & drink bottle/school bag that we need to send him with. Maybe they don't use exercise books in the first year of school?

I still have a lot to prepare - need to buy more uniform items, buy a drink bottle and order name labels for clothing/belongings. MIL bought DS a pencil case full of stuff, but not even sure if that's needed!
