Day 3: hmmm getting to go home from work soon?
Funnily enough I'm doing our budget for the next year or so and I like it because I like being prepared haha. We will finish it tonight :-)

Day 3: have been planning to get crafty and make my own Christmas decorations this year. I got to start on them today.
DS has been having an exceptionally good day.
I got to do some baking this morning.
DH is home soon and we're going to take DS to play and feed the ducks.

Day 3: had a friend over this morning so our DDs could have a play date I met her online last year which I think is pretty awesome!

Day 3: seeing @BettyV post on the hub again.
Pretending to be scared and wondering where DS was when he had his face painted like this:

and him holding my hand and whispering 'it's alwight mummy, it's weally me, let's just use our imaginations together.'

Joining in late lovelies. I need this and it brings me joy to read along.
Last night DD (7) said, 'when I was in your tummy I was thinking about my mum. I really was, I remember it. I was thinking about all the things I wanted my mum to be. And you turned out just like that - kind, funny, loving and caring. You're the best mummy ever.'
DD is a roller coaster of a child to parent. But her heart is absolutely beautiful and pure. She will come out with gems like this out of nowhere every now and then. There is often the fantasy bit involved (the in your tummy bit 😂) but she likes a good story!

I'm going to do a Merry Christmas hessian bunting, a christmas tree garland, some tree decorations, paint some canvases, decorate some little reindeer, make some string table top christmas trees, some cushions, and hopefully a table runner or some placemats. I wanted to do an advent calendar for DS, but can't settle on anything I really like. And I'd love to make a wreath, but it's expensive to do, and I can't actually find any bits and pieces I like up here.
