Thankyou gorgeous @BlondeinBrisvegas. My flight was late, then no Skytrain for half an hour, $55 taxi ride to St Andrews, drama at front desk at St Andrews meant a very late start, the infusion girls are running it through heaps quicker so I can get to my apt with Warren at 3.15pm. His staff just rung and asked to move the apt to 5pm. I explained my flight departs at 5pm. I've just taken the next dose of Valium. Back into the haze. A stressful day for someone who is meant to be on a weeks bed rest. Most of all I'm just praying for that heartbeat in a few hours. I'll be devastated if he can't find it.

@Tahli- I didn't get cramps but was only on one per day at night. I think that price sound right as I was only able to get them from my hospital pharmacy in 30 per pack from memory. I found even one pessary very messy. White glug every morning and generally heaps of discharge. My undies felt wet all the time even with party liners. There was so much I didn't know if it was the progesterone or thrush or both !

@Tahli I was also on endometrin x3 daily on one of my cycles, I hated them. Exactly as you said -very messy. I used to get a pink discharge with them (which they said was normal). I didn't get cramps but bad headaches and just felt really nauseated on them (I lost 2kg in my 2ww) . Hope they are better for you.

I think it's best to compare every second day's stick, not every day. as I think HCG should rise over 48hrs or so (longer after the first couple of weeks too). the line does look a bit darker to me, so I think it'll look better tomorrow.

    Default IVF Over 40's #41

@Tahli Thats what Ive been prescribed! Endometrin over Oripro. I have asked to change to Oripro as I found I didnt leak but could make my own candles. I was told by my nurse that its been successful with alot of ladies pregnant using it. So at least there is evidence it does the job as support. Should I keep pushing to change to the Oripro silver bullets??
@Grace1 thanks for the feedback.. i had no side effects on Oripro so dont know why Im changing!?

@Billie2 hey mate, i don't know if it helps but if you do decide to cancel, maybe next time you could say that you want to do a medicated fet, so they put you on progynova and you wont ovulate and then you can transfer anytime after around day 14 and up to day 30. That way it would remove the stress of wondering about ovulation and it will keep your lining growing for up to 30 days and you take progesterone 2 days before transfer. I dont know why they dont all just do this anyway? Anyone know why unmedicated based on ovulation is better than medicated progynova transfers?

I think different FS have different views and also base the decision on your usual cycle. My FS preference was a natural FET wherever possible as it mirrors your natural cycle. For me as I ovulated around day 14 pretty consistently apart from the odd blip, my FS thought the natural FET would be the best choice for me. As its turned out, it was.

@Molros, I'm very sorry to hear of your FIL's passing. I hope he went peacefully and that your DH will remember the good times rather than what can often be a difficult ending. Hugs to you both

@Lastchance75, welcome to my world hon!!!

I agree with the other ladies, maybe 24 hours is simply not enough to spot the difference at this early stage.

I have done a crap-load of googling (when @Billie2 wasn't hogging the airwaves ) and true enough, all the sites say it can take 48+ hours for the HCG to double.

When you think about what shows on a stick at 6dp5dt - HCG probably in the vicinity of only 20 or so - a doubling up to 40 wouldn't amount to a whole hill of beans 24 hours later on the stick.

    Try again tomorrow hon
