@LillyM we have been at the same clinic with same FS for a year and finally we are cycling together for the first time. You have 2, I have 2, lets get this sh1t done and skip out of the clinic forever and ever..

Mate... Miracles happen. Sh1t happens too, but we have had our fair share of that.

Hi all, bfn again today 13dpo but dont stress about me, i was expecting it. And anyway, i was too busy ringing supercare. So, ive been thinking about the fact we are preparing to use donor embies next cycle and today a lady popped in to the greece thread and mentioned programs which offer a money back guarantee, which got me thinking. Coz i realised i dont necessarily have to go back to greece if i dont want to. So im thinking over things like if we do the shared dh sperm and donor sperm thing in greece, would we go with dh embies if they look ok or go with total donor embies anyway because they prob have the best chance of working??? If the later, then i might as well research other donor emby options.

Question: is the dna fragmentation sperm test the best one to tell if there are sperm issues? Are there any other tests? Any how 'definative' is the dna fragmentation test? Any info would be much appreciated.

So anyway, ive been googling like crazy and theres a place called californian conceptions which offers donor embies, you can have 3 transfers of up to x2 embies each transfer and if you dont get a take home baby (even miscarriage after 12 weeks qualifies for a refund) after 3 transfers you get your money back. Its $12.5k US, which is pretty bloody good to transfer up to 6 blastocysts. And after the money back you can still use that $ for 3 more transfers. So in a way, worst case scenario is 6 transfers of 12 embryos for $12.5. Hmmm...wheels and cogs are turning :-)

@LillyM...Oh gosh, 2 from 8. You must be beside yourself with worry. Two is still a good opportunity for a transfer though! My second last OE pickup yielded 3 eggs, one went in fresh and the other was a AA Grade hatching blast! You just never know

@gorgeousgeorge, I'm very sorry hon BFN's are always sad, even when you're expecting them. I love that you're planning a way forward though. You get 'em, hon!
