Pear juice is great & Metamucil too
I find prunes & any dried fruit gives me quite bad gas cramps.

I would say prunes & dried figs. Lots of water, increase fibre. I'm guessing your pregnant by the thread you posted in, so I'm thinking iron will be causing this. Increase your green veggies also. You can also talk to your pharmacist.

    Default Constipation - help

Benefibre was my godsend and all my pregnant friends agreed. Had a spoonful in my morning tea daily and didn't notice. Not grainy and no flavour.

Everything the ladies have suggested but if your seriously backed up

    Microlax 12x5ml tubes. $17

I had these pp c-sec. the amount of drugs they pumped into me was horrendous. I sent DP in the city at 9pm at night to the 24/7 pharmacy to get me something and he got these

    Instant relief within 5mins

If it is really bad try a laxative.

Fibre CAN back you up more. If you are taking Benefiber/Metamucil then drink lots of water.

Pear juice (as in drink the whole tin!) works. Prunes are good too.

Its in the tinned juice section. Usually on the bottom shelf. And it does work. But you do need to drink a bit.
