Symptom spotting is the worst isn't it! With all your body's been through the past couple of weeks it's really hard to know what's real and what's not lol
Keep us posted, 8dp5dt is still really early. Good luck xo

    Hi girls,

It's been busy these past couple of weeks, we are owner-builders and finalising kitchen/laundry colours and layout and now ready for our kitchen mob to do their measurement on Monday morning. Yay! It has been good, took my mind off the results.

I had my followup appointment on the 27th of February with my FS. Our one frostie's screening results came back normal (thanks @missyT cos I would not have sent my other embryo for screening the day after the transfer if you didn't say you did send yours. The lab kept asking me if I want to wait until after the blood test results). So I will be doing a FET transfer when my AF comes this month. Due to my age, FS has asked me if I wanted to do a full cycle again (ie collect eggs etc again) and just leave the frozen one alone for now. This is if in case I get pregnant which means that I will not be able to do another full cycle to collect eggs for a year or so and we would like to have more than one baby if we can. Though he's not worried either way. We just said that we will just have what is in front of us at the moment which is the frostie and not look too far ahead into the future.

@megwilliams, welcome back from the holidays! I know when you say you are ready to do it again. I feel the same now.
@missyT, sorry to hear about your results. I do understand about taking some time away from the forum (actually from everyone else as well) cos I did the same.It is not a bad thing. Then we come back stronger and more ready than ever.
So we will be the "second round IVF/ICSI" girls? Lol!

@SpecialK82, hoping for those two lines!

@Mad89, welcome and goodluck on your first cycle!
MrsBMum2be, hope that little noodle inside you continues to grow healthy...

Lots of to you wonderful ladies!

    Need your opinions please...
I have 1 frozen embaby which I can use for FET next month or I can do a full round of IVF again? I am just trying to think because of my low AMH whether I should do this while I am still young and my egg quality is still good... can make up my mind I really hated doing all the stims but I am just trying to think about the whole picture rather than just the now. What do you all think?

    Have you tested again @SpecialK82?

Are you going ahead with a FET @chook1?

Hey @missyT, personally I think I would do a full stims cycle if I had a low AMH as egg quality and quantity could decrease.. but it's obviously a personal preference! What are you leaning more towards?

I understand why you don't tho.. The thought of this second full stim cycle is frightening. I was thinking of it today as AF is due tomorrow (but I don't think she'll come on time) and I got really emotional. I didn't cope very well with the stims last time.. I was in a lot of constant pain and emotionally all over the place.. oh and the fear of another failed cycle just makes me cringe!

Hoping you're all travelling well xxx

    Hi @megwilliams @missyT @chook1 @MrsBMum2be

So AF turned up Sunday arvo right before Adele! It was all over just like that. Everything came crashing down around me and i felt cheated. I have felt mostly numb and sadness today.

I asked the clinic if I could come in early tomorrow and chat with FS. We think we might take a 1-2 month break b4 stim'ing again. I don't think I'm emotionally stable enough to jump back on the roller coaster straight away. And I've got nothing back yet from medicare for jan or feb cycles so that's playing on my mind.

I agree the thought of stim'ing again plus general anaesthetic etc is daunting. And i was very emotional that cycle and teared up all the time so i totally understand your mind set.

I have to think there is a reason for everything in life and that this challenge is making me a better and stronger person for the future.

I'm so sorry to hear @SpecialK82, AF is one of the most devastating sights when going through an IVF cycle!

Have a break and take some time for yourself! It is such an emotional journey

We just have to stay positive! We will get our babies!!! Xx

@missyT i agree ith @megwilliams i think if it were me i would do another full stim cycle if i thought i could handle it. I just think from another full cycle you could get some brilliant embryos to both transfer and freeze then you also have your emby already frozen ready for A FET 😊 but its a big decision because its such a roller coaster of physical and emotional craziness, it can be hard to voluntarily put yourself through it again.
@SpecialK82 I'm so sorry to hear that, a little break might do you good We didnt get any of our rebate back until a week ago and only got $400 which is way less than expected so keep an eye on your payments for sure

    Xxx

@SpecialK82sorry to hear about your results. xTake the time that you need before starting again. Easier said than done but we will get our desired results soon. Take care...

@megwilliams Yep, I will do a FET. Just waiting for my AF to come this month so can do book on.

@missyT. I am doing the opposite so not that helpful. I guess by doing FET, I am taking it easy a bit. And also FET is cheaper. Whatever you decide, all the best.

    Take care lovely ladies! xxx
