    I saw it on the weekend. It's quite a sad story in many ways and whether a kid would enjoy it would depend so much on their personality. My son who is 5 would love the dragon but probably not all the bits in between (and there's a lot of narrative around Pete).

    So my guess would be around 7 plus but honestly depends on the child.

    Thanks. My mum is taking my 7yr old, which I'm ok with, but my 4.5yr old wants to go and I think he'll get bored. I might take 4.5yr old to see Storkes.

    The beginning is really sad. I had forgotten the story and how sad it is. If your son is really sensitive maybe just be prepared for a few tears. My 11 year old cried a bit.

    I usually check out commonsense media dot org as it's parents and kids rating the age recommendations for movies. Then you can read the comments and often they say if little ones were bored, scared, etc.
