Hi all we managed to get 2 hatching blasts for our ET yesterday so happy with that 😃

We also now have 6 frozen embies but not completely sure what the grading means. Can someone please help.

    3 x 4AA
    2 x 3AA
    1 x 2AA

I'm guessing 4AA are the good ones but not sure about the others are they still ok? TIA

Yay yay yay! Awesome news! Now relax (as much as you can) for the next 10-11 days or so.
They only freeze good quality embies... So 6 is fantastic. I did ask the lab to email me the grading system (which they happily did). I suggest you do the same... If you don't get a copy let me know and I'll hunt it out of my inbox.
Enjoy your last ?few days in CT. X

    4AA very good
    3AA above average
    2AA a bit iffy
that's my version of those gradings! A 5AA is an hatching blasty.
    Good grades over all!

Thanks ladies that's good to hear. We are leaving CT on Monday and I'm not going back to work until I've had my preg BT so will have plenty of relaxing time

Hi all, I haven't really posted much but read all of your stories and very much appreciate them and the support and hope they bring. We are heading back to Cape Town on Friday for a FET after an unsuccessful result in December 16. We are finding it hard to decide whether to transfer one or two embryos. Last time we just transferred one. Not so much worried if we were lucky enough to have twins but more the increased risks through pregnancy and the delivery of healthy baby/babies. Everyone from the medical field I have asked in Australia have really suggested against it but Cape fertility are quite positive in recommending to transfer two. Any personals experiences would be very welcome. Thanks so much!!

@TJ1 I'm heading to CT in July and was wondering the same thing. It will be my first DE experience. Would be interested in knowing what you decide. I hope this time works out well for you.
