I think you'll be ok... everything is controlled once you're on the pill but yes email your dr for reassurance.

Thanks ladies. I have emailed CFC and they are not concerned. At this stage just need to give AF an extra day. I'm to let them known if still nothing by Thursday.

Default Weight loss for donor egg

    Hi guys,
I have been told I need to lose 15 kgs before being 'ready' to be a recipient for donor egg. I am overweight mainly from hormones, depression from unsuccessful IVF and steroids. Anyone lost weight for this purpose? I feel like it's pushing the goal post further away but want to be in the best health before spending all that $$ and to improve my chances for success. Feeling quite hopeless and bewildered about donor options.
    Any advice greatly appreciated.

I was 104kgs when I got pregnant with my daughter with DE (first go) this time I was around 72kgs... pregnancy sure is a lot easier this time around...but I'm not sure being overweight has that much effect on DE cycle? I had two failed cycles in between but the quality of the embryos in both of those was pretty low/poor

Hi everyone, just thought I would officially introduce myself - I'm heading to CT in July or August to give DE a try. Tried IVF here in Oz but I'm in my 40s and my PGD testing showed chromosomal abnormalities. I've been reading the threads and have found all your information inspiring and useful in helping me make this decision. I just wanted to thank you all.

I also have a question for anyone who might be able to answer. I'm in Sydney, my FS is away on leave for ages and my GP can't prescribe one of my injections. Has anyone used the international pharmacy for medication ordering? And if so, how did you find it. I'm stuck for options. I'm not sure my FS will support me - as she wanted me to do DE locally. Thanks for listening.

Hi @Chmeille, welcome to the thread.
Have you tried another GP? Seems strange. Usually CFC give you a couple of options for each drug.
Regardless, there are ladies here who went through the international pharmacy- I think maybe @mardicharli ? And I know there are several others. You could also ask the girls over on the Greece thread. Best of luck to you lovely! Feel free to ask any other questions if you need to xxx

Chmeille I had trouble too there were limited options for non specialists but she was able to prescribe Lucrin daily ( first time I had Lucrin depot but second time it was unavailable) fs won't have a bar due to legality but I found them happy to support after ie if pregnancy tracking. Good luck ..
