Hi, my 2017 quote is $77427.00 rand I am in the US but our prices should be the same. So it should be another 17427. Rand that you have to pay. Hope this helps.

I'd wait and see what the grading is on transfer day is..I transferred 2×3ABs in 2014 and got my daughter... transferred 1×5AA last cycle as there's no way I wanted twins (I don't think my body would cope well and for financial reasons) and am pregnant again. If they were average quality I may have transferred 2 though.

Hi @Caesardust, great to see you back.. hopefully this is your time.
We used embryoscope as we liked the idea of no interruption to the embies.. it cost $400 late last year.
I agree with the others that Dr LR will be able to advise how many to transfer.. I wish you all the luck in the world xxxx

Happy Sunday everyone. Thanks everyone I've changed my mind and booked the embryoscope as my nerves have got the better of me, hopefully it's available now. Also can anyone who has used neupogen in their fresh de cycle tell me when you started using it and what the doses were? Thx xo

I haven't read back through the thread but wanted to send huge hugs to @emski72, @ferngirl and @Canuck1. I hope your pregnancies are progressing well.
And @Caesardust...you are going to completely and utterly rock this cycle. Everything is different this time and so will the outcome. Your son or daughter will enjoy looking back at the embryoscope footage of when they burst into life. Imagine them being able to use it for a class project!

@Cathy69 Is it ok to ask you how you weaned off Pred during late pregnancy & did you see an Endocrinologist? I was on 25mgs of Pred, had the Glucose Tolerance Test at 9 wks of pregnancy, diagnosed with Steroid Induced Diabetes (thanks to the Pred), a few days later started being treated for Diabetes via an Endocrinologist and weaned down to 5mgs. She consulted with her colleagues and decided nobody wanted to advise me stopping the final 5mgs & take responsibility for losing the baby. The Diabetes is being successfully controlled through diet. She is talking about it taking 6-12 months to completely wean off the final 5mgs post birth - 1mg every 6 weeks, after the initial 6 week post birth check-up. I also have Hypertension & am on high blood pressure meds, again most probably due to the Pred. I look forward to hearing how you successfully managed to get off it!!

Hi All, I've kind of dropped of the page as nothing has been happening for me (and I've been a little busy trying to get closer to this dream)...but I did want to let you all know that it is possible to import eggs to Australia. When I mentioned this before there was a lot of questions about it, and many people said it was not possible, but today I had 9 frosties arrive in Brisbane.

So I thought it might be of use for some others starting the journey to check out a few things to make sure that this is an option to you. It seems that there are 2 main hurdles. First is will the fertility lab in SA release the embryos. Apparently often they will have some small print that prohibits you from taking the embryos else where, but I used Natal clinic in Durban and they told me up front that I could do what I like with the embryos. The second challenge is finding a clinic in Australia that allows the embryos to be imported and will store them. All up the process has taken about 3 months, but is definitely worth exploring if you struggle like me to finance multiple attempts in SA.

Good luck to all you lovely ladies on chasing your dream.

@Blu that is amazing news I didn't know you could bring embryos here at all. I might message you to ask some more questions if I can't make it to SA because of my lining this time.

Hello everyone. I managed to get hold of the neupogen and finally got the dosage instructions so one more step out of the way. Intralipids with Dr M next week do a second trip to Sydney and the lining scan that will determine everything. Talk about cutting it to the wire. I hope that by the time I want to book flights to ct on Tuesday there are seats left with only booking 3 days out. Eeek!

Thanks @Tahli for your vote of confidence. I only can dream that it may come true for me after so long.

It's great that a few of you are finding out about potential siblings. If I'm successful I'd love to do that too.

Just in case anyone remembers. What's the best price people have got on Viagra pessaries in Melbourne and where?
