@Purdie Sparkle thanks for sharing and all the best in Cape Town. I'm doing my last OE IVF cycle here in Oz and have been devouring this thread for information because I'll be heading off to Cape Town to try DE next (if my current cycle doesn't work). It's good to know I'm not alone. Look forward to hearing your happy news.

Welcome Mr and Mrs Purdie Sparkle !

Your story is so true and familiar and I had very similar experiences to you. So glad you are going to CT again ....... my 2 little 14mo Cape Tonian bubbas are asleep right now. They were born after my 3rd trip to CT and I know in my heart that these 2 were meant to be; previous miscarriages were never destined to complete their birth journey but they taught me it was possible to get pregnant and they encouraged me to keep going.

Fingers crossed this is the trip for you.

(BTW I found posting very therapeutic as not only did I feel I was helping others on the same journey to DE in SA but it also helped me to sort my thoughts, celebrate milestones and have others to commiserate with over bumps in the road.)

Hi Purdie Sparkle this is my first time posting. All the best for your trip to cape town.

Our donor has just had her screening a couple of days ago and we are now waiting on the results. We are hoping to go over in May. I was just wondering about the procedures of taking your medications and needles on the plane to and from cape town.

    Thanks so much 😊
