Hi @Kate83 - have you asked CFC if they consider her to be a good choice based on her history ?
I asked them about mine and they gave me her donation history, which gave me great reassurance. X

Mamakes and Gen72 used known egg donors, they have been happy to share previously, they'd be busy looking after their babies they got from the process but i reckon if you tagged them, they would reply and be happy to talk to you :-)

@Kate83 . My first egg donor was one I chose based on being proven ., which was what the agency told me. She turned out to be a bit of a dud. Second donor., I asked Dr H at CFC for a recommendation. He suggested a donor with success bfp in 2 previous cycles and resulted in 11 top quality embies for me.. Which I an now pregnant with. Definately pays to ask CFC for details or recommendations.
@Waiting to exhale. You could probably also check Wazzas thread for patients.. As he is involved. Good luck.

Wow!! Just read your signature. What a great result. I too have old crusty eggs.
I'm ok to as here if that's ok. Hoping it may be helpful for others.
Obviously it is an expensive process but after 10years of not getting a BFP I am sick of stuffing around and want a BFP sooo much.
I haven't heard much about Known Egg Donors and really just wanted to hear from someone that had used the service to see if they would recommend them as there are other options but I think this one suits DH and I the most.
Were you happy with the Donors you got to choose from ?
So glad I got to talk to you.
When are you due? If you don't mind me asking.

    Hi everyone,

We got back from Cape Town last week after a lovely two week holiday with our 2 yr old & got my BFP this week. Just had BT today so awaiting results. We suspect it may be twins as the lines are quite dark. This was our 3rd trip for a sibling for our daughter so we were really hoping it would work so we are over the moon.

So for those that use Gestone any tips on how to get rid of the hard lumps on bum? This time around the lumps are killing me - I can't even sit on a chair properly! I am sure it wasn't this bad last time. Maybe my bum is bigger!

get hubby to do a bit of an **** massage with heat packs and arnica oil a couple of times a week @Luca - it helps to kind of disperse the oil pockets a bit. Mine are painful too at the moment and I remember last time feeling it by the end of the 10 weeks (I only used gestone, no crinone) and the lumps were there for a good 4 months or so after stopping!
