Hi ladies - Sorry for the delayed update. November and December were really difficult months.

I lost my mother on 18/12, 2 days before my son's birth. It's been a really horrible shock though she'd been ill, I never Imagined it would happen.

But then as one soul left this world, another arrived. Neo Kobe Jensen was born at 12.13pm, 7 pound 7, healthy and happy. He's healed a lot of hearts.

Neo means "precious gift for the parents" in Tswana, a South African language
Kobe (pronounced coby) means "born on Tuesday" in Twi, his dad's Ghana language
Jenson means "son of Jen", after my mum Jenny who many called JEN, it also means God is gracious in Hebrew

Congratulations @MamaKes, Neo is just gorgeous. So sorry to hear of the loss of your mum, I know how hard it is, I lost my mum 5 years ago.

Congrats @kylie764, it"s always a big relief to see that tiny little heartbeat.

    Congrats also @Cole77.

I haven't posted on here much but the week before Christmas I had to cancel my FET in Jan, unfortunately my AF has been MIA since early September and bloods show that after almost 4 months I am still mid-cycle and haven't ovulated. Luckily all my travel bookings were refundable so it has only cost me around $300. I have booked in to see my gynaecologist at the end of Jan so hopefully will get some answers then. Goodluck @emski72, @midnite01 and @Rubywoohoo with your upcoming trips.

Hi everyone. I don't get on here much these days. I have a child free day today shopping on my own so thought I would touch base whilst I can. I have tried to catch up on what is happening here. Congratulations on all the BFPs! Mamakes Neo is just gorgeous. I am also sorry to hear about your mum. I am also sorry to hear of BFNs. It's tough road & DE is not the miracle we all hope for. Our first cycle worked which we are forever grateful for but our last 2 FETs haven't worked. We are off to Cape Town next week for a fresh donor cycle. We are taking our DD so looking forward to a proper family holiday for a couple of weeks. Staying overnight in Johannesburg this time as we missed our connecting flight to Cape Town last time. Can't wait to get there as we love it so much. Good luck to everyone cycling, planning & pregnant. It is so worth it x

Oh @MamaKes I missed your update, what a lovely little baby Neo is and what a great looking family you have. Congratulations to you and your hubby. So sorry to hear about your mum...That would be incredibly tough, but what a little miracle you have in Neo and the dedication to your mum in his name bought tears to my eyes. X

Thanks @emski72 his first name is also a tribute though not many people know the real reason - Neo being a South African name and it's meaning about being a gift - it's a nod to our donor who is South African and came here with the Known Donor program. She is over the moon for us, by the way about Neo's safe arrival. I received a long WhatsApp voice message from her when we shared the news. Such a special gift she gave us.

Congrats @MamaKes ... Neo looks such a cutie!

After spotting just before Christmas, but a scan that went well last week.. Have woken up to more bleeding today.. More reddish than brown. Wondering if this one is gonna stay put with more bleeding. Feel like going and having another scan.. But the pain of getting another referral for a scan and seeing the dr again should be weighed up again bed rest .. With bed rest winning.

@Minniemin have you had your scan yet?
I'm getting excited now ... counting down the days til I leave (15th... ) work is dead quiet this week which isn't helping speed things up!

    Hi love,
Thanks for thinking of me, scan next week!
I've been super queasy and everything has started early compared to my last pregnancy- dont know if it's because it's my second or if it's maybe more than one (omfg) but either way, I'm happy.
The 15th is just around the corner, how exciting!! Are you all prepared?
Let me know if you need anything, I have lots of clexane, also have a myciti card with credit on it. PM me if you need either.
    Where are you staying? X
