Bleeding was quite light and only went for 2 days max so happy about that. Last time I had bleeding.. I did go to emergency.. They didn't scan me and just sent me to a scan place the following day... Bloody useless. So just following Wazza drug regime with extra cyklokapron and that seems to have done the trick. I am having a scan tomorrow and hopefully there is no visible bleed or damage. Will be 8 weeks on Friday. Back to work today..so trying to take it pretty easy.

Hope all is good at your scan Kylie ... I had a massive bleed at about 6.5 weeks, I think it's pretty common with DE pregnancies in the early days as you've built your lining up so much... still is very upsetting when you're the one going through it though right!? Hoping for good news tomorrow from you x

Default Egg Donation in South Africa #14

Hi again everyone :-) I've been off the forum for a bit, but we're starting to make plans for the new year so I thought I'd drop by here again.

My history: I'm a Wazza patient. After several years and 4 OE IVF cycles with no blastocysts and nothing to transfer, we decided on DE. We ended up with 6 good blasts out of our CFC DE cycle in August. Two were transferred, and I got my first ever BFP after years and years of trying -- but then m/c at 8 weeks. My November FET (again 2 transferred) got me a BFN.

I got a little grumpy at that point. I'm not sure why, but I'd figured that DE would get us the results we wanted really quickly. Everyone always talks about the great probabilities involved with DE.

Anyway, we have 2 embryos left before we have to find another donor, so we're focusing on those for the moment. They're the 'dodgy' embryos (one is a B2AA and one is a B4AB I think - all the others were either B4AA or B3AA. I'm told they could still work though??). I reckon I'll fly over again in February to give it another shot.

Where are you all at with your cycles? (except @Cole77 and @kylie764 and @Minniemin who I see are up the duff! Congrats!!!)

Hi @Rubywoohoo - those gradings sound pretty good to me, a 4AB and 4AA is definitely worth going back for...A 2AA probably not ...so you're in with a good shot. I'm on cycle #4 in a couple of weeks for a sibling, DE not a magic bullet but gives us the best possible chance

We are heading over early feb until mid feb. De is not a guaranteed bfp but it def gives better odds than with my own aging eggs. Hubbie is getting tese this time over there which hes a bit nervous about. Hoping they get enough to store if we need to go there again.

Had my dating scan today.....feeling so relieved. Scan showed bub is 8 weeks today with a heart beat of 161 bpm. All looks good. Small bleed visible which tech said was small so nothing to worry about.

Good luck for others upcoming scans. The worry can continue.. As it never really ends till bub is safely here!
