Thanks minniemin. Good luck for today with your transfer. Hope all goes well

Kate i havent been over there yet heading over in feb but i chose a donor who was proven had a good amount if eggs last time and got guidance from agency and clinic. Saying that my donor is late 20s bit older than what i envisaged but decided to proceed anyway.

Kate, I would get your SA dr to recommend a donor. In addition to number of eggs collected, number and quality of blasts available for transfer is important. The agencies are not necessarily gonna have this info or tell you the true information. They can suggest you a donor. I would get their suggestions and take this info to the dr and ask for the history and which one they suggest. My first donor.. Who closely resembled my daughter appearance..12 eggs at pick up, 2 blasts. My second donor suggested by the dr.. 21 eggs at pickup and 11 blasts. 3 cycles with pregnancies will all 3 de cycles. Much better donor that my dr suggested... Though I had to select one that resembled me a little less. Good luck in your search and upcoming cycle.

I too reacted to Gestone. I had big welts that were itchy as.. And still there months later, despite stopping the injections. That was first de cycle. Second cycle I was taking 4 x 400mg progesterone pessaries plus provera.. Which ended in a mc. This cycle I am taking 4 x 400mg plus provera and have just added 2 x 100mg endometrium pessaries to the mix as of yesterday due to my progesterone levels being too low (11-15) . I am retesting again on Monday and will see if Wazza suggestion has helped. There are definately other options out there. Good luck.. Hoping this one is a fighter and sticks anyway.

Hi Kate83 It's so disappointing after all the build up and hope when a cycle doesn't work out. I'm thinking of you. The criteria we used for donor selection was Caucasian under 30 and had their own child. As a bonus our donor had previously donated as well.

Ahhh love, last thing you need right now!
Not sure if you saw what happened to me last week – we had an issue at the airport and couldn't fly until the following day. So stressful!
I think the staff at CFC must be used to these sort of hiccups though - I emailed them to say we might not make our appointment and they were very relaxed and reassuring- scheduled us in for the following day just in case.
Our journey over was a total nightmare- seating issues, delays, missed connections.. I started feeling like these were all bad omens
BUT once we arrived it's all been good news so far and I bet it will be for you too. Good luck!!

Thanks Minniemin sounds like you know exactly how I'm feeling at the moment! Trying to believe it's getting any bad luck out of the way

I also got stuck - delay in sydney meant I had to stay an unplanned night in Jo'burg, arriving a day late in CT. But the qantas staff were awesome and nothing else went wrong. Hope its like that for you!
