I purchased it online as it was (2 years ago) a lot cheaper than I could find here. I also couldn't find the correct dose in Aust, only ones double the dose and I could see no point in paying for more only to be wasted.
My FS faxed the script directly to the UK pharmacy although I think you can get your dr at CFC to do the same?
It took just over 2 weeks for the injection to arrive, although they also had an express option which is quicker.
If you need to start your meds soon, I would be ordering ASAP. I started by ringing around a few chemists in Aust for prices first (I think Chemist Warehouse was cheapest?) and found most needed to order it in too as it's very expensive. Only a few days needed though. Then found it online a lot cheaper and ended up ordering through them.
    Good luck!
Thanks so much for all these handy tips @mardicharli - much appreciated xx

Wow, I haven't been her for a whilst and so happy to see great results MissErinR, Cannuck1, Title.

I am going well 21 weeks pregnant with my twin girls. It still feels so surreal after wanting this for so long. I only wish we hadn't waited so long to do DE if we knew we could have good results.

I am looking forward to reading about even more wonderful experiences with CFC and BFP's.

Take care everyone and baby dust to all xx

Ok, I am SO confused about this superannuation thing. I've been told that ladies have been successful at accessing their funds to go overseas for treatment, but the girl from Supercare has told me:

Please note Claire that you will not get approval to havetreatment in South Africa unless the treatment is unavailable inAustralia.

So...if egg donation is available in Australia, how are ladies able to access their funds to go overseas? How do they determine what's unavailable in Australia? I'm just incredibly confused about this all and would love for someone to shed some light if you can. Thanks

Default Egg Donation in South Africa #14

@siansmum I would call Supercare directly and speak to one of the girls- they are lovely and helpful and will hopefully be able to clear it up for you xx

I accessed it for South Africa. Give them a call to discuss. It is just that your FS has to say you've exhausted all options here and that the treatment in South Africa is the best thing for you. They know exactly what to do to make it happen, don't worry and good luck x

Im doing one cycle with my own eggs and then if thats not good then going to South Africa we will need Donor eggs and sperm. Even with the added costs it will be lower in money than if we stay in Australia and use donor eggs and sperm. Even with the rebate the costs will be lower to go to South Africa.

I have made my initial enquiry.
