I made the goulash. Is sweet paprika meant to be hella spicy or was it just mine? Glad I tasted it before I put 2 tablespoons in! Subbed most of it for smoked paprika, was still yummy.
Served it on mash for kids and dh, pearl cous cous and veg for me

i made this lamb tikka type thing. it was a slight fail. looked unappetizing AF but smelled/tasted ok. i didn’t use the right cut so the loin chops came out a bit tough. the lamb rump came out better. ds wasn’t a fan. dh probably pretended it was ok to preserve my feelings. i’ll try it again using chicken thigh i think.

    Shouldn’t be that spicy.

Something was definitely up with mine then!

Tonight we had chicken and corn soup, which I’m thankful I cooked yesterday as Wednesday’s are such a rush.

I have started cooking some slow cooked meatballs for tomorrow nights dinner, which will be a rush night too.

scrap dinner. i found some crumbed beef shnitz in the freezer so did those and divided 2 between dh, ds and myself. ds then had his with wholemeal wrap bread and cherry tomatoes plus a banana. and a frosty fruit for dessert. dh and i had ours with sweet potato wedges. dh said he was still hungry so had leftover lamb things from last night and some rice. i’ve had yucky reflux so trying to see if eating lighter helps any. so far it hasn’t.

only had cheese and crackers for lunch today.

tomo night i’m thinking beef stroganoff or cannelloni.
