Great news!! That all sounds awesome

The spotting can be worrying- I hear you on that front (I've had some huge soaking through fresh bleeds and can scare the crap out of you) ... fingers crossed it's all ok

Thanks... not sure how to feel as I think I'm too scared to feel any excitement... The spotting keeps going, the cramps are off and on and I'm scared I have an empty sac because there was no yolk sac (that I could see)

I'm also nauseous and tired and have gone from starving to unable to stomach much food..

Why did I think that I could get an easy and worry free pregnancy. For me all these fears I have are worse than if it didn't work

And I think 6 weeks is still early so wouldn't expect to see much on a scan. When is your next one booked for? Sorry if you already mentioned. On my phone and it wont let me go back.
Hope you have a relaxing and stress free weekend

    Hi ladies,

Haven't been very active on here but thought I'd jump on today.

@jeb8303 I had brown spotting right up until 7ish weeks along with cramping. Freaked me out! However, everything is fine! I'm 10 weeks on Sunday and have already had 3 scans. Our bunny was measuring correctly and heartbeat strong each time.

Our obstetrician fees are very similar $2500 for management, $200 for initial and $90 for general appointments. A lot of money! I just like the idea of continuity of care and after spending so much on ivf I figure a few extra thousand is well spent.

What's everyone's opinion on the NIPT blood test? Have you been requested to get it or are you waiting until the nuchal scan to make a decision? My ivf specialist believes it should be done, however all my friends have waited until the nuchal scan first to see whether it is advised. So many decisions and extra costs along the way!

@Sunnysummers my FS is a believer in getting the NIPT done.. So I'm just going on his recommendation.. However the more I think about it the more I kinda like to know what the risks are..

I've booked in for the NIPT (costs $440) on the 12th, and NT on the 23rd dec...

@Sunnysummers I didn't get the NIPT as bubs is from a cycle using my 30 year old eggs, same cycle as DS & he was low risk so we decided that if the NT came back high that would be my next step, I discussed this with my OB & the Doc that did my scan... in saying that, if this pregnancy was using my 35 year old eggs (or older) I don't think I would have waited, I think I would want that peace of mind as soon as I could get it.
@jeb8303 you will know either way next scan, 7 weeks you'd expect a heart beat so either way you don't have long to wait... thinking of you & sending heaps of sticky vibes!

14 weeks today! Starting to feel bubs moving a bit! My 2nd OB appointment on Wednesday

Not sure what we will do this time round, expecially having 2 onboard but with ds we didn't do any of the tests. Did the scan but not the bloods. I watched so many friends have added stress with high risk results and then have further testing with everythinf being all good. We weren't prepared to do further testing so opted out of it.

Congrats on being 14 weeks @AmyEL. My first OB appt is Tuesday. So cant wait!

Not long to wait @jeb8303 Christmas seems to be creeping up so quick at the moment, it kind of makes it the best time to be in the first trimester as it seems to go quicker lol.
