Default Perfume - your favourite fragrances for summer?

My birthday is coming up and I could really do with a new fragrance.

I'm currently wearing SJP NYC but I don't think it really goes great with my skin (you know how some fragrances don't smell right on some people?).

    Share your favourite summer fragrances!

I'm thinking I want something that smells quite floral, like a flower shop, but I'm open to suggestions. I tend to lean towards fruity/floral scents, but not strictly. I loved Gucci Envy back in the day, but it's long been discontinued.

Is Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue nice?

I've ordered a sample of Thierry Mugler Alien as I'm curious about it.

I wear Jimmy Choo and always get lots of comments about it. It is a little fruity with woody notes.

It might not be right for you but I see they now have one called Blossom which sounds like it would suit you.

Estee Lauder Pleasures is very floral - it smells like a bouquet of roses, very nice

Oh have you tried Clinique Happy Heart? I'm also a sucker for Ralph Lauren's Romance

Viktor and Rolf - Flowerbomb. I don't wear perfume because it makes me queasy. But a few times I have walked past/near women in the street who smelled amazing so I asked them what they were wearing and this was always the answer!

Marc Jacobs - Decadence is the newest one I love or I've always worn Chanel Christalle or Allure

Chloe Rose ... It's so fresh and clean, so many comments.
Otherwise Chloe by Chloe is gorgeous too, I alternate between the two. The bottle is the same the ribbon is just a rose colour for the rose bottle and beige for original Chloe
