    Default IVF with endo

Hi everyone! Having conceived DS naturally almost 3 years ago, I joined the world of IVF last month since being diagnosed with stage 4 endo in February whilst TTC for #2. I would love to hear from fellow endo-ers about their experiences with TTC, IVF etc because our 1st try was unsuccessful & from personal experience I still want to believe that miracles can happen! X

He meehalo I was in the same boat as you. I conceived naturally with DD 6 years ago and then have had problems since. Found out last year I had endo and had excision surgery last October. Specialist said to try naturally for 6 months and nothing happened. We aren't in a position right now to go down the ivf path so decided to try some natural options. I saw a naturopath who put me on supplements to make the internal environment more balanced to conceive and we also tried using pre-seed. I had also started to eat a little healthier. Unsure if it was the combination of it all or what it was but I am now 8 weeks pregnant which was a surprise. My next step after the naturopath was a Chinese herbalist which was recommended. I knew that I could fall pregnant so just needed a little help. I wish u all the best and hope it's sooner than later for you.

    Default IVF with endo

Thanks @beckleysamum & congratulations. I love happy endings!! May I ask what stage your endo was...? After my 1st lap last year I thought I'd lose both tubes but thankfully I didn't. Only one was any good but unfortunately I had endo removed from the attached ovary & I suspect it was damaged because it was on holiday during my IVF cycle. Initially we did try TTC naturally after my 2nd lap in Feb but I ovulated on the blocked tube side both times so IVF is our only option now. I've tried acupuncture which unfortunately didn't help this time so I may look at seeing a naturopath because I definitely feel the internal environment needs some help! It can't hurt at the end of the day can it!

Thankyou I had severe stage 4 endo. It took a good 10 months for us to conceive so don't give up hope. My naturopath worked with an acupuncturist and that was our next option. Certainly worth giving it a shot. I hope to hear ur success xo

Hi, I had bad endo removed during a lap, had months of injections to treat it afterwards then was finally allowed to move onto ivf. We were incredibly lucky & it worked first go for us after 4 years of ttc. I ended up with OHSS from ivf so our embryos were frozen but it was our first frozen embryo transfer that resulted in our now 15 month old dd

Good luck, I hope it all goes well for you

After years of IVF we had to change FS last year. Our new FS suggested a lap and he said I had endo going from what was on my scans (results withheld). Had the Lapo last June, TTC for 3months decided to a stim fet with out last frostie. It failed on day 10, it was genetically 100%healthy from testing. With that af I ovulated naturally 2.5 wks later and we got pregnant naturally ?. I now have a little ds2 who is 11wks. DS 1 was natural and is 9yrs old but I suffered 6 miscarriages before and after him.

I had stage 3 endo, on my left tube, uterus was covered and spots all over my bowel aswell. I'm also 39 yrs old

    Miracles do happen

My FS is brilliant a friend used him by chance with same issues as me and is expecting her first next march

Wow what a story @babybeeno1 but a happy ending although I'm so very sorry for your losses... I'm over in WA but would love to read up on your FS, it never hurts to take a look. Thanks for taking the time to post.
