Default Better to buy with credit card?

Hi all, I can't find the thread, I'm just wondering when you pay with a credit card are you covered for a longer period of time? Example: if I was to buy a phone with the card would I be covered longer? Warranty, etc?
    Thanks

Have a read on this link as it will give you some info. It comes down to what credit card you have. You still need the receipt though to prove you purchased the item but it's only valid for a few months from date of purchase not say 2 years after you bought the item
