It's about your own preference honey!! did u only have the one transfer? Have a chat to your FS and see what information or recommendation they advise they are the most informed on your fertility and situation then make your decision there is no right or wrong choice every person is different and how they respond after transfer.

I'm booked in for my very first Appointment with the gp on the 2nd of June & cannot wait.

I'm 26 with PCOS, don't ovulate & low AMH of 9 which means I'm one of the unlucky people who have PCOS & low AMH. Apparently the only upside to PCOS is a lot of eggs except in my case.

My partner is 22 with an extremely low sperm count of 1million per ml with only 8% swimming forward so we are a very complicated couple according to my FS.

We originally seen a private Genea specialist but really can't afford private IVF at the moment & due to my low AMH I just don't want to wait any longer.

We did all our blood tests last month & my partner has also had 3 SAs in the past 3months.
I'm also going to get another Pap smear done next week (last one was June last year) with hopes that I will have done majority of my tests before I go or will they want all new ones anyway?

Sorry about the huge story but also wondering how long I can expect to wait between my first gp appointment & the next appointment?
    Hi @tiika17
we had our first appointment today. as we've already got recent all blood reports and other reports from previous cycle. so they made a booking with a specialist on the same day. unfortunately we had to go to work so we changed it to friday with Dr kris..so i believe you can make your next booking within a week..

Our first appointment with the doctor next Monday. I know its gonna be a long jurney with lots of stressful times emotionally. Please share your stories if anyone is going to start their journey at primary next week…baby dust to everyone x
Hi! I am starting with Primary next week and am super excited but also nervous. I was with Genea previously and am worried it will be a very different experience. Also, I don't have any recent tests or bloods. Can anyone tell me what they will want to get done? I really want to start cycling ASAP!

    Hi @bedlover
primary ivf is super cheap comparing with other cilincs as i was with ivf australia before. If you guys don't have recent blood tests they will definitely ask them, AMH level and they might ask your partnet to do a sperm check as well if his previous record is not valid now. don't worry they will arrange evrything for you and it wont take a long time. im not sure about my starting date as i got endometriosis. im seeing the specialist tomorrow and he will decide next procedure.
    Good luck hun

Hello ladies. I'm loving this thread, lots of great info! I have my first app on Monday with primary at Oxley, I've had bloods, scans (I have PCOS) and smear done in October through my normal GP. If they ask for more recent results do they do testing on the day? Or would I need to make another app? Not even sure what to expect with first visit.

@meelou u just have to go to a pathology for the blood tests but they have to be done on day 3 or 21 though. U also need to have a scan early in the cycle.
