Whoohoo @Giraffez! So very happy for you! What a journey! Good on you for being persistent. Absolutely stoked to hear this news! My HCG was 386 so that's a very strong number! Best of luck. You deserve it. ❤️🥂

HI everyone, been a reader of this thread for a few months now. We have recently had our first cycle with Primary Melbourne. Got overstimulated so could not have a live transfer but have 4 day 5s and one day six on ice now we were told today after having the collection last week.

We have another appointment in 2 weeks anyone know what it will be about? Its not going to be the transfer..

I’ve been reading this for long time and finally im here.. Thank you for sharing all of your stories. It means a lot to me specially when you really need a emotional support from the girls who know your true feelings. I had my first ivf cycle with ivf australia last november and it was unsuccessful L after several months we thought to give it another go with Primary ivf and one of my friends has recommended it. Our first appointment with the doctor next Monday. I know its gonna be a long jurney with lots of stressful times emotionally. Please share your stories if anyone is going to start their journey at primary next week…baby dust to everyone x

Welcome @Indy9 where are u based?

Yes mine was a day 5 blastocyst transfer. I think they do day 2 and 3 transfers too depending on the situation.

    Good luck!

    Default New to Primary IVF

Hi ladies, I'm so glad I've stumbled across this thread. Any input would be awesome.

I'm booked in for my very first Appointment with the gp on the 2nd of June & cannot wait.

I'm 26 with PCOS, don't ovulate & low AMH of 9 which means I'm one of the unlucky people who have PCOS & low AMH. Apparently the only upside to PCOS is a lot of eggs except in my case.

My partner is 22 with an extremely low sperm count of 1million per ml with only 8% swimming forward so we are a very complicated couple according to my FS.

We originally seen a private Genea specialist but really can't afford private IVF at the moment & due to my low AMH I just don't want to wait any longer.

We did all our blood tests last month & my partner has also had 3 SAs in the past 3months.
I'm also going to get another Pap smear done next week (last one was June last year) with hopes that I will have done majority of my tests before I go or will they want all new ones anyway?

Sorry about the huge story but also wondering how long I can expect to wait between my first gp appointment & the next appointment?

    Hi ladies,

Have been reading everyone's journey and it has given me so much more faith.

My amazing partner and I have battled for 8 years with fertility (endometriosis and low AMH levels) and several failed attempts including a stillborn birth of identical twin girls at 28weeks. The emotional upset and finances kept us on hold for 12-18 mths before hearing about primary IVF coming to Brisbane imagine our happiness 😊

We started our first cycle with primary IVF recently and even given the disadvantages had 7 eggs on EPU 4 fertilised beautifully one went in last Wednesday as 5d Transfer but started heavy bleeding 2 days ago even with crinone and I'm not due for test till Monday 22nd.. As emotionally draining as it was I tried to put no high expectations for our first Try and have always funnily enough fallen pg after FET!!!

Can anyone tell me with Primary Did they start heavy flow a week after transfer and could it be low progesterone levels? I've used crinone prior cycles and never had this and am worried! 😁

    Anyway sorry for novel lol!
    Stay positive ladies 😊
