@JNC_B2012, Primary told me to lose 15 kilos and then come back. I had a BMI of 40. Their cut off is 35 so you'll be fine. I lost 10 kilos and got it down to 36.5 and am now 8 weeks pregnant, exactly 1 year from when I first saw them!

Oh this is super exciting for you @ Giraffez will you be putting both back?

I have done one IVF cycle with QFG (mackay, QLD) in 2014 which resulted in our soon to be two year old daughter. At 15 weeks pregnant we moved to Ballina, NSW. Have been trying natural since her fist birthday. And between hubby's roster, and my body and life in general we've had no luck.

I have my first lot of bloods and urine tomorrow (day 21). We have two frosties with QFG but contemplating doing a fresh cycle with Primary depending on cost to have the frosties transferred.

@Bundysmiles I'll only be putting one back as that's all they would let me.

That's nice to know that ur first cycle resulted in ur daughter. I'm not feeling too optimistic about this whole ttc thingy.

I think it would ultimately be cheaper to do a fresh cycle. Do u have to pay storage fees with qfg?

    Default New

I'm a complete newbie to online forums!

We are starting our first round with primary at the moment, had my first injection last night. I'm excited but don't want to get my hopes up.
I have a 7yr old from a previous relationship who was conceived naturally while I was on the pill to now not being able to fall pregnant has all been a very emotional time.
We've being trying to fall pregnant for around 3 years with so many set backs including dr's who won't take u seriously because I'm "still young with plenty of time" (32) and having to push for referrals to specialists and then having endometriosis and having scans and them stuffing up the report and telling me I had a huge cyst on my ovary and I didn't.......... its been one thing after another!
We booked an appointment with Primary and we couldn't be happier, the GP was straight to the point with no fluffing around. We are 4hrs from Sydney so they booked all 3 appointments on one day. And now we are finally on our way!!

Hello ladies. I am looking for some basic information and hoping to get some advice. A little back story. Both my partner (same sex couple) and I have had children before but would like one together. We have a few things against us. I would need to carry as my partner has Lupus and I am almost 46. I have had fairly regular periods though that seems to be changing. I am a bit overweight as well (working on this down 7kg already). I am looking into fertility options and trying to find clinics that won't send us broke and wondering if Primary IVF will let you use a known donor. I understand that most low cost clinics don't have a donor program but thought I would ask. Good luck to all of you in your journey's.

Hi @racquelandkerrie..I think best that you ring primary directly. I'm thinking if primary is happy to do it, then your donor will need to attend some of the appointments with you as he will need to sign the consent forms as well. Where are you based?
