    Thank you @Cantw8ttobmummy
Congratulations on being PUPO - for BFP.. did you only get to transfer one?
And massive congrats on the frozen embies.

I can't believe how much more affordable Primary IVF is compared to what we went through with QFG. Granted we had just the most amazing specialist who we owe so much more than our beautiful daughter to. But still.

$714 wowee! Could/would you mind giving me a rough idea of the process and a timeline for your cycle? So we know what to expect please and thank you

I think IVF is amazing and all of your lovely ladies are really amazing and awe-inspiring. Like I said we are very lucky to have our daughter which was our first IVF however, both my husband and I are yearning for another (feel a little selfish but we just feel like we would like one or two more to our little family).

    xx

@Bundysmiles thank u Hun I can't wait to know if it's a sticky one bt is not until next Friday yeah they transfered one cause I'm only 27.
Congrats for ur little girl and this time it would b a boy for sure loll
Ok so first of all I barely ovulate so maybe I can go 2 years without a period and luckily when we went for our first appointment with primary they run some bt test for me n dh and surprisingly imwas ovulating which was last month and af came so we started stimming on day 3 of period with 150 puregon injections and on day 5 added a second injection 250 orgalutran so we did injections for about 14-15 days altogether since day 3 of af and we have been going to bt and ultrasounds once af has finished to see how I am responding with the injections they monitor your hormones with blood tests and follicles counting and sizing by ultrasound(if they see that ur doses needs to b increased they will increase it) mine didn't need increasing. once ur follicles reached maturity 18-23mm which mine did I had 13 matured follies so I triggered that night which is called ovidrel and 2 days after I went for egg retrieval under full anaesthetic and they retrieved 8 eggs and fertilised them the same day and they call u the next day to tell you how much has fertilised mine 5 fertilized and after 5 days 4 blastocysts left one died we went in for embryo transfer I had one transferred and 3 frozen
This journey requires lots of patience and faith Hun u must have plenty of those
Yeah primary is amazing and a gift sent from above to help us ladies having difficulty conceiving I pray for bfps for all of us

Hi @VanessaM was the DQ alpha just a blood test? Which pathology did u do it at? Maybe I should check whether I have nk cells as well.

U can ask for to check for mthfr by blood test and a whole range of other things as well like blood clotting disorders. But u are having the treatment for it anyway with the clexane so doesn't really matter whether u test or not I suppose.

But I read somewhere that people go on these drugs like at the start of the cycle not just before transfer as primary is doing for us

How's ur stims coming along anyway? How old are u can I ask?

Hi@Giraffez, this is my first ivf attempt, before that we were trying for 1.5 years with nothing happening at all. I'm 39 and from Melbourne. The DQ was a DNA blood test done by Dorevitch but the bill I received was from Red Cross (weird). I started Gonal 4 nights ago, feeling a little sore and emotional... the Clexane is for the natural killer cells however Nic at Primary said he's giving it to me to treat my psychology as everyone has natural killer cells. I don't know what to believe anymore. I guess we will just see how I go. Booked in for a scan on Monday so I'll keep you posted! What does mthfr do? Is that what Primary is treating you for (with the Clexane)?

Hi @VanessaM apparently people who have mthfr mutation has a tendency to develop a clotting disorder which may prevent implantation so the clexane is to help with that. Maybe I should ask for the steroids next time but i duno if they will give.

Have u started on the orgalutran?

HI girls I couldn't wait it's 5dp5dt and I POWs this morning and got a very faint positive I'm a bit worried if it's the trigger still there or the good news 14 days since triggered
