Don't feel bad. In my experience you can really only control the introduction of solids with our oldest. DD2 was shoving apple pie and icecream into DD3's mouth the day she came home from hospital (after being born).

ETA doh! Someone else beat me to it. Just ignore me. I clearly am a professional thread killer. Backing out now.

That must have come out during my first hiatus from BH. Interesting thread that's for sure.

I wasn't around for the horse carrot one either. I remember reading it for the first time and thought it was actually funny that some people didn't know what wifi was, definitely an 'old' thread

I saw a parents changing their kids nappy on the footpath! 9/10
On the ewwww scale. Was gobsmacked by the amount of people who subsequently and vehemently stated they would change their kids nappy on a toilet room floor if needed (as opposed to let them sit in a poo nappy for a 5 minute care ride).

They have to read it for themselves I reckon - one of the best threads ever. And maybe the shoes off thread needs a bump too.

That "gross" thread makes me realise I am not a germaphobe in the slightest.

Maybe I should be? Nah! Wastes too much energy worrying about germs
