TRIGGER WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGE OF MY BUM!!

My right butt cheek is so sore.
I slipped over at work last Thursday in a puddle of urine. So I went *** over tit, landed hard on my bum, sitting there in p*ss and nobody was there to witness my glory.
Sorry but I felt like sharing.
    Good morning bubhub 😂

Oh my gosh @LittleMissSunshine, that looks so sore. Reminds me of the time I stepped into a lift backwards at work and basically speared my butt cheek on the flat end of the handrail in the lift. I had a shiner like that within the hour. Definitely wasn't putting in an incident report about that! I'm glad I didn't slip in a puddle of urine though . The thought of that is worse than the thought of the pain from the bruise!!

    😂😂😂😂😂

My boss did hear about it and asked if I wanted to officially report it... I said it wasn't necessary, just a sore **** and the indignity of smelling like urine lol no need for forms and increasing their insurance premiums!

I did a similar thing with my hip, banged straight into the end of a handrail. And I still have a small scar from dropping a lifter battery on my shin (for those not in the know it's a giant heavy metal box).
I'm clumsy. I can't blame anyone but myself for those things!
Well, I guess the puddle of urine wasn't my fault!!

As an aside there are people that fill out incident forms/workers comp forms for the littlest of things. Sure, they are entitled to, but it does irk me. I'm sure it irks management more!!

lol it's a fine line, we have people at work who fall off the back of a truck and hurt their back and say "it's ok, I just need to rest it" and don't want to fill out the paperwork, and others who fill out the paperwork for a paper cut and usually I have to notify the insurance company of any injury which means so much work on my part. So we do tell everyone to formally report it because we don't want to be financially penalized by the insurer for not reporting it to them early enough but god it's such a pain.

I don't want to be the fun spoiler but the main objective behind reporting incidents is to understand what caused them and implement corrective measures to prevent them from re-occurring. The next person who slips over might crack their head open. If management don't like people reporting incidents and near misses then they should not be in management.

No it's all good and I have no issue with things like reporting genuine hazards or injuries related to these. But things like paper cuts, stubbing a toe, etc etc it's always the same staff
I'd rather save the paperwork for legit matters, otherwise I'd forever be filling out forms due to things where I know I'm at fault or aren't preventable iykwim?
