Hey guys, trying to shed some light on the results. The GP said that it was only a little low but I don't know what it's actually meant to be. His progressive motility is at 10% and his morphology is at 2%. Is this really bad or not ?
Has anybody still had success with similar results ?
He's taking menevit for it now.

How long has your DP/DH been on the menevit ? Because you should re-test in a couple months and you'll get better results.
My DP was 20% then up to 44% you need to be greater then 32% for progressive motility
Morphology was 7% up to 8% needs to be greater then 4%

Sperm test results
Your welcome. I read your TTC diary and the person who was rude which is very wrong was correct about the withdrawal method for sperm collection. Remember you also need to abstain for 2-5 days from ejaculation and hand method is the best form of collection aswell. Your GP should of explained all of this to you if they didn't it may be better to see a FS for your infertility issues but as you've only been TTC for a couple months they are most likely to not do anything as yet. As your do has only been on it a few days like i suggested get him retested in 2 months to compare results and get s print out from your GP now to compare for later

Oh yeah in hindsight that does make sense, annoyed that the doctor told us the wrong thing though. We're just seeing the GP, going to ask when I go back if it's worth going to the FS. Yeah he's being tested in another 3 months and hopefully things have improved. Going to keep trying in the mean time anyway, you never know

A regular gp doesn't specialise in infertility that's for the FS. If you can start researching IVF clinics so you can see how they work as an in case you need one. And if when you pick one if you need to research the specialists there. My FS is also a gyno and OB which is great as they know everything about my body from beginning to end with womens health
