So... I've come away for the second week in a row to Dalby and staying at my sons girlfriends parents place, finally after 2 false alarms, she will be induced tomorrow..

But.... I haven't tempt or checked cm or position or even done any opks, today is cd 15 we did the deed 2 days ago and while we were strolling the town I decided to just buy some opk. I haven't had any cramps or anything, a tad bit of brown spotting. After a 4 hour hold, at 3pm i got this.. strong positive opk?

How will I manage to dtd here, I don't wanna miss this cycle completely.. lol

Hi! I'm new here, hope I'm doing this right. Can you please put me down for the 18th October for testing date? This is my 3rd attempt at making baby number 1.

Just a question. I see ovulation testers in the thread where do you get those from? I go to the shop and they have expensive digital ones but not the normal pee stick type ones. Also what does cm, opks and ewcm mean?

    You can them on eBay.

    Cm- cervical mucus
    Opks- ovulation test
Ewcm- egg white cervical mucus (fertile)

You can buy stuck ones from the chemist too, they're called Ovuplan and cone in a purple box

Does anyone else using OPKs find their surge really short? I've used them the last few months and I literally get one day of a smiling or flashing positive (on the digital OPKs) and barely a second line on the Ovuplan or First Response ones, let alone a line even close to indicating a surge... not sure that's normal
