Ladies, my friend just gave birth to a lil angel. Miracles happens! My friend is a PCOS with all the with all the dramas symptoms, excessive hair, obese, hair loss, irregularities etc as we know. Guess what she got lucky in the first 3 months of marriage. No clomid/metformin/gonal. Super girl ladies chin up. We take it one day at a time. @Trytryandtryagain give acupuncture a try if you would like, I got a positive vibe this arvo I guess my morning session was worthwhile. Renee is my practitioner, 169 Grattan Street Carlton VI 3053 XX

Liz, I was the same with the metformin to start, but you must persist the symptoms do get better. Have the metformin with food or immediately after. Start once a day for a week or two. It took me two weeks to settle, I had diarrhoea the first week (tmi sorry) but now fine. Once I tolerated one dose, I added in the second. But I always have to have it within 1 hour of food or I do get symptoms. I often skip my lunch dose if I don't have a good lunch or take my Med close to lunch. Goodluck
